athywhite1958 Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 It is with great sadness that I am telling you about the passing away of Dave Grundy from Atherton, Dave had been a Wanderer all of his life and used to travel everywhere with us, the last few years he didn't go to many games but was still a big fan, He passed away on holiday in Greece last week whilst on holiday with his wife, Dave was a great character who lived for his family, and his darts 'n doms, he was always a cheery bloke who never had a wrong word to say about anybody, a proper chap, Dave was 47 and will be sadly missed by all who knew him Rest in Peace big fella.
Ashey Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 Didn't know him, but RIP, condolences go out to friends and family.
Alf Hartigan Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 (edited) I have recently lost someone this age,and it is no age at all, Condolences to all his family, sounded like a great lad. Edited July 16, 2007 by Alf Hartigan
Traf Posted July 16, 2007 Posted July 16, 2007 47 is no f?cking age at all. I'm not a religious man and things like this that have made me that way. How can good folk die at 47 or younger in some tragic cases we've read about on here, when dirty f?cking peados, rapists and murderers can walk the streets? If there was a God (or whatever it is you worship) out there, he's obvioulsy warped too. Anyway rant over: RIP Dave, my thoughts are with the one you leave behind. PS If you're reading this, buy Higgy a pint from me.
