What's Your Personal Claim To Fame?

There must be some 15 minute heroes on this website.

C'mon, let's hear it....... the time you appeared on the front page of the BEN, when you bobbed your head into screen on Granada Reports, the time you were an extra on Corrie, as a 10 year old at the Albert Hall in some theatre production, etc.

I started the "Favourite way to kill an Elephant" thread.

And I once vomited all over the window of Viscount Lindley's furniture shop.

Anyone been on a roadrunner video?

My lad - interviewed by the late, great man before the home Reading cup tie January 1992.

Me? Nowt.

I was on Granada Reports queuing outside Garlands a few years ago. Didn't even know I was being filmed. Only found out about it when this lad rang me up and said I've just seen you on the telly!

Also appeared as an audience member on Zoe Balls Class of... I looked a right tool!

In June this year I gave a speech in the House of Lords, I'm sure that half the f?ckers were asleep

What was it about? This is far more interesting than some of the shite claims to fame on here.

Not me but what about alibob's pic splattered across the national paper crying at Chelsea when we got relegated.

I was on TV during the minutes silence when we played Wolves at the Bok one time.

I was also on TV at Hilton Park when Leigh RMI played Fulham in the Cup, Brevett was taking a throw and you could just about see me stood up behind him in the terraces.

And interviewed by Peter Smith of SSN in Bolton while on my dinner from work when BFS got the Newcastle job. It was only shown once though, but I knew I was on due to a couple of texts I received from a few pals of mine.

:pardon:

I was also on at the Leigh RMI game! I was in teh tunnel!

This game also set the world record for the number of streakers at a televised sports event.

One even had ginger pubes.

Was full of neh'dowells and social misfits that crowd.

OOhh I forgot my best one...

I was sick on Luis Figo's shoes in Portugal 2002

Don't do deepthroat after a kebab then.

I was shown on Granada's Kick Off in the early 90's being frisked outside Gigg Lane.

I never knew you used to be a bucketshaker

I was in Manuimission in Ibiza and persuaded Mani out of the Stone Roses to leave his DJ booth and come dancing with me and my mates in the main room. Met Howard Marks on the same night.

Me and Crawley White were in a band and played in the 5th man at the Hacienda and at the Boardwalk.

Once abused Jay Kay which I'm quite proud of, and have had a row with the lead singer out of Senser.

Dave Higson used to be my Akela when I was in the Cubs up Morris Green.

I seem to remember Crawley White telling me he had once shagged Jimmy Cricket's daughter which is pretty impressive.

Oh, and my girlfriend snogged Orlando Bloom at a School disco in Canterbury.

I was featured with my Sunday League Football team on 'This England' an ITV 30 mins programme filmed in the late 80's on what people do on Sunday mornings. It showed the parts of the game,The Lamb on Halliwell Rd after the game and also interviewed me at my house. I was also interveiwed on Home Truths on Radio 4 in a 15 minute slot on Fathers Rights and a feature on the fathers group I set up. The programme was introduced by the legendry John Peel! :D

Resettlement of drug using ex prisoners =@ Honestly

Good thread :good:

Dunno about "fame" but here goes -

1,On the replays, i can see myself on the Burnden terrace celebrating that Frank Worthy goal against Ipswich.

2, I rode round a racetrack doing a victory lap of honour with Barry Sheene

3, I nicked Peter Reids bird

You've taken all the romance out of it now Kent!

Pablo was on that 'team of the week' on the Granada football show a few year back (before his legs were made of glass). They showed a clip of him running at goal with the ball, and then falling arse over t?t with nobody anywhere near him..................it was worthy of a few replays too :good:

i'll say

she's only got one arm

Even though we took 3000 to that game, and there was a mad ticket frenzy, there were still some folk who refused to sit next to a ginger.

:pardon:

Sorry ali, you know I'm joking my little swampduck. ;)
