Fao All You Nolan Haters!

But it doesn't mean sitting idly by while Nolan and Lee drag our club into the championship.

And for all the 'support' you lot are giving Nolan...we all know if we get relegated he'll be among the first to leave us

edit: and for the record I never booed Hunt, in fact I really like him. He might not be Roberto Carlos but at least he tries his best and his heart is with the club.

Sometimes you must amputate the foot to save the leg. There's nothing wrong with criticising players/managers if it's constructive and for the greater good. Attempting to defend the indefensible - ie. Nolan's current form - is not being positive. I'm with Henrik on that one.

Nolan has lost it and won't be getting back to form any time soon.

He was pissed out of his mind with his hangers on in a well-known Liverpool hostelry on Saturday night/Sunday morning - apparently a very regular occurence. So not really indicative of a disciplined approach to a healthy lifestyle, eh?

was int chinky last night and picked up a rag while i waited.

nolan got 8/10, motm and the caption said "its a shame england have so many good midfielder because the industrious bolton captain was at the heart for everthing positive bolton did"

read of that what you will.

Nolan got the Wanderers MOtM in a few Sunday tabloids yesterday! Maybe he's starting to put himself in the shop window for January! :-k

from what I saw it was far from a MOM display, in fact this morning in a decent paper he was given 4/10 and I would go along with that.

Booing him achieves fcuk all, if not makes issues worst.

The lad loves our club, and deserves our support through this bad patch

i'd have agreed 12 months ago

it's gone on too long now though

I think we can all acknowledge he's been pretty poor for quite some time

he shouldn't be in the side at the minute when other players are barely given a chance

I'm starting to think he gives LSL a cheeky w?nk before each kick off in the changing room - struggling to think of another reason why a number of other players are ignored while he's always first name on the teamsheet.

Then what's his problem?? He's been useless this season (particularly away, I assume you went to Portsmouth/Brum?)

We know he has talent, but he hasn't produced for 18 months now. If not effort, then where is he going wrong? 18 months is not a 'bad spell' it's just pathetic

I went to Birmingham. In fact the only two Prem games I've missed this season have been Pompey on Sky and Derby, from which I've seen us on Football First.

Against Pompey the whole side disappointed. Add to that, he was being asked to play up front FFS.

From what I've seen against Derby, Nolan played quite well.

He was nowhere near as bad as some of our moronic fans suggested at Birmingham. Alonso and McCann both had very poor games, whereas Nolan didn't stop running or putting a foot in. And I've no doubt that he heard the "get Nolan off" chants and upped his game even moreso.

He is purely being made a scapegoat because he is captain. Along with the fact that he hasn't been scoring in the way he did a couple of seasons back. I wouldn't mind. but on so many occasions this season several players have underperformed. Yet it's the loyal, committed, adopted Boltonian that gets the stick. Typical.

I honestly can't vent my disgust enough regarding our fans booing Nolan when his name is called out before a match. It's scandalous.

booing Nolan is way out of order but to suggest his performances are not that bad is wide of the mark he has been dross.

Don't boo Nobby, support him while he's off form, but for fcuk's sake rest him from the first team and strip him of the captaincy as I don't believe he is a leader.

Come to think of it though do we actually HAVE a natural leader on the pitch? I don't think Speed will be on the field enough this season to warrent the captaincy, possibly Davo?

So the guy posing as Kevin Nolan, who was with this wife in the Premier Suite on Saturday night/Sunday morning was an imposter? I was chatting with him for about 20 mins between 12.30-1am.

I can confirm he'd had a few "shandies" - but seeing as we've no game until Thursday and the fact he was on an "official" club do, then I don't see a problem with him having a drink or two...hundred.

Who picks the team

how come lsl can pick the positives from an undefeated run of 4 from the part timers of rabon whatever,a home draw(which felt like a defeat) against spurs, plus a draw against a team so low on confidence as derby

gartside should have pulled the plug after spurs

hope im wrong

i know this boat has sailed but i'm gonna have my two penneth anyways!

anyone at all inside the reebok (and away days) in a seat reserved for supporting BWFC should not be booing, full stop. I sit next to a guy who used to constantly slag off henrik, and when he wasnt playing he would turn his attention to allardyce. now they have both gone, it's nobbys turn. wtf? completely does my head in this! if morons like this spent half as much time "supporting" the team, a bit like a bra would under the weight expectation from a pair of 38EE's, then i'm sure more people would join in and there would be less nagativity. for the record, if the lad who sits in the upper tier of the north stand, always wears a crappy denim coat is reading this? the next time you you shout "nolan you lazy c**t" at top note while standing directly behind my 8 and 12 yr old daughters, both your face and the floor of the stand will be getting to know each other very well indeed! END OF!

The fact is, its cool to have your say and your opinions, even dissagreements(sp?), and i guess this is where this place is so groovy! but as far as moral, and support go, we have to try and breed positivity the best we can! so come on you whitemen!(and i didnt mean that in a racist way if there are any super sensitive afro caribbean stewards reading) :yahoo:

Right now my go!

Dont boo any player, full stop!

A player is under performing, meaning he has the ability to play better. This is very frustrating as a supporter. (and ive vented my frustration)

I would prefer to see Kevin with that smile on his face working hard to apply high presure and support players around the ball, this is a strength that has seen its rewards but he spends a lot of time concentrating on bollocking players around him even when he has been to blame eg a sloppy back pass to Jussi which resulted in Kevin dishing out abuse.

Firstly rest him on Thursday

Secondly bring him back on Sunday in the centre of midfield

Thirdly removing him of his captaincy stressing clearly that a return to form and a positive effect on players will see him regain captaincy later in the season.

Forthly, he needs managing and guiding and im not sure if he's being supported in this.
