Numb idiot rang up 3 meat and tatty pies to which I politely pulled him. with speaking loudly in a clear voice "ONE meat and potato pie and ONE black coffee" Numpty Every time I've had something the staff have been completely different, nowt like continuity is there?

SatanGreavsie Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 It's got to the stage where I almost feel sorry for some of them - they've clearly had zero training and as the personnel seems to keep changing its hard to see how they will ever get any. Lad who served me at the Derby game tapped out me order for coffee and meat and potato pie and it came up as owing me ?27 change for me fiver. I suppose I'd have pointed his error out if he'd have gone through with it Actually, I'm in honest mode at the moment - just 10 mins ago went to the cashpoint and a bloke left it to go into the chippy, and as I go to put my card in it's asking me to take the receipt and do I want another sevice. So I taps no and it gives me his card! fortunately he was still in the chippy so I could hand it to him. Did hope he might offer a free bag of chips for me trouble but he just muttered summat about how his wife would have killed him and then buggered off. (The last section of this post was brought to you in association with the MikeHunt world of interesting anecdotes) Actually, back on topic, I seem to remember that at one of the meetings the club did indicate that there was going to be a new initiative where local NW clubs got together and hired casual staff from one pool, so they could build up experience. seems that idea bit the dust as well...
no balls Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Personally, I couldn't give a flying f?ck what colour they are, just as long as they can serve a bit of beef tea or a pint if I'm not driving. Satan's reet, a bit of training pre job wouldn't go amiss. To be fair, I know it's only a till, a pump etc, but if they've never done it before or been working in the stadium previously, they're hardly going to be the fastest are they? I blame the management! Up the workers, brothers & sisters!
