Who Has Made The Best Signings This Summer?

Who would you say has made the best (thinking in terms of quality, price, quantity etc.) so far 9also bearing in mind who they've lost/what they need)?

Arsenal: Ramsey, Nasri

Villa: Sidwell

Blackburn: N/A

Bolton: Elmander, Muamba

Chelsea: Bosingwa, Deco

Everton: N/A

Fulham: Schwartzer, Gera, Andranik, Pantsil, Zamora, Kallio

Hull: Warner, Giovanni, Fagan, Halmosi, Boateng, Mendy

Liverpool: Dossena, Cavalieri, Degen

Man City: Jo

Man Utd: N/A

Boro: Emnes, Digard

Newcastle: Guthrie, Gutierrez

Pompey: Little, Crouch, Sahar

Stoke: N/A

Sunderland: N/A

Spurs: Modric, Dos Santos, Gomes, Bostock

West Brom: Cech, Zuiverloon, Jim, Bednar, Moore,

West Ham: Eyjolfsson

Wigan: De Ridder, Kapo

Spurs have made some very good signings but have also spent over ?30m in the process

Hull, considering they have brought in 6 players for about ?3.5m - shows what Phil Brown has learnt from Allardyce

I think Chelsea have maybe done the worst as Bosingwa i don't believe is worth ?16m and Deco has not really been that good for a few seasons and ?8m for him being 31 years old is a bit of a risk

Stoke and Sunderland desperately need new players and haven't done a thing so far as do Villa who have only signed 1 and have one of the smallest squads in the Prem

Nasri Dos Santos and Modric will be the best 3 without doubt unless manure sign berbatov

We are thinking of signing him up as a mod as none of us can be bothered reading his drivel.

Who would you say has made the best (thinking in terms of quality, price, quantity etc.) so far 9also bearing in mind who they've lost/what they need)?

To pose the question properly, you need to address the imbalance in it. You need to tell us who they've lost and need.

Fulham must be the worst

Spent a few quid doing it too..

In a meeting today with a Brum season ticket holder.

He really rates Muamba and reckons we have signed a good 'un.

It has never ceased to amaze me how many Probation Officers follow Brum.

Hull's and Fulham's signings will be interesting. There is always discussion about how much you can change a team and have them gel. Citeh did well with it last year but they bought some quality players.

Whilst Hull & Fulham have bought experienced professionals they are not going to set the Premierleague alight. And Hull have not finished yet if the rumours are to be believed.

I think it is the managers who will be key to whether or not they have bought well.

Although individually there have been many good signings by each club, as a collective Spurs have done the best deals.

That Bostock chap is a sticky one and should gel well.

:good:

took me a while to spot what you'd done there! =D>

I'd say Spurs have done the best, that Modric chap looks a cracker

i'm still waiting for us to get Eidur back :cray: reckon he and the turnip would make a crackin front 2! just like helen mirrens, they'd have a lovely weighty balance about them.

You could well be right, however minus Keane and Berbatov and spurs will flatter to decieve. Again.

Ye have a mate who lives down there n supports brum n he said, and i quote 'Absoloutely Quality'

Spurs, then Arsenal.

BUT, Spurs may end up loosing their front 2!

Does N = E+R/2*7

Or is it a gay code?

Are you on glue? :)

Pompey seem to be buying alright

they're after wright-phillips as well

should be a better team than last season

so I'll say they have made the best signings

Two hats walk into a bar in Widness. Barman says 'This isn't another gay joke is it'?

The code is simply N=aNd

liverpool will play these new signings from august till they are out of the title race and getting close to everton in the league

at which point they will revert to full strength, go on a good run, claim 4th spot and everyone will go "next season they will challenge"

same old same old
