Nowack Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I did comment that he does a beltin' Lancashire accent for a Brummie. Even more impressive as he is a Cockney.
vinnybwfc Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Even more impressive as he is a Cockney. cockeny ?? i thought he was a brummie as well
Gonk Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 cockeny ?? i thought he was a brummie as well That's because as well as being very good at Lancastrian accents, he's very good at Brummie accents too. Although Nowack called him a cokney, he's not an apples & pears east end barrow boy type of cockney, more of a middlesex plum in mouth southerner, but cockney is near enough
jayjayoghani Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Barry from Auf Wiedersehn was a character fellas.

William Bear Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 no consolation if you don't get your're stuff back, which you won't. was she in at the time or was this a daytime raid ? lets just hope the scumbags die from a infected needle. last night.. even went in her lads bedroom and stole his birds bag (car keys, cash cards etc) then took the car too
Spider Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 last night.. even went in her lads bedroom and stole his birds bag (car keys, cash cards etc) then took the car too I'd take unpaid leave to pull each of their teeth out with a plier, then drag them down St. Peters way tied to my bumper. I hope you find 'em, and do a proper job.
fester58 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 last night.. even went in her lads bedroom and stole his birds bag (car keys, cash cards etc) then took the car too hope he didn't touch the trainer collection
William Bear Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 hope he didn't touch the trainer collection he's/they're in enough trouble
Traf Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 F?ck me, there'd have been serious bloodshed if the trainers were touched. Billy in a Falling Down type escapade, I reckon.

globaldiver Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 I've had a brew in the room where Lord Haw Haw was hung. And if we had such a traitor today, we couldn't hang him.
Traf Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 carnage... then again, i'm the least of his/thier worries now If you're the least of his worries, he's a goner.
William Bear Posted August 26, 2008 Author Posted August 26, 2008 If you're the least of his worries, he's a goner. i think you know who i mean he ain't happy
Traf Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Oh, I do know who you mean, and I know what he'd do.
wovlad Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 (edited) especially when he had to hang his best mate, don't think i could do that, Good film but like many docu-drama's It took a few liberties with the truth. 1 ) Corbett drank in his pub but was only an aquaintance not his best mate & AP did'nt shed a tear for the bloke. Nor did he break down at any stage as was also implied 2) Irma Gries didn't spit at him or say the line " You are doing the Jews work " Ernst Kalltenbruner famously said it. 3) Was it me or did they portray him as a bit thick. Have read his autobiography, he comes across as pretty articulate. Ghost writers not withstanding To name but a few Edited August 27, 2008 by wovlad
Andybwfc Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 Maybe we should do what they are doing in Oldham..... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/7583675.stm
