Elmander Class Act

http://www.premierleague.com/page/Headline...1414883,00.html

tend to agree with megson on Elmander, from the little I have seen I think Elmander can have a similar influence on games as someone like Viduka, he has a great touch and I think he will show that he can will goals and has the creative ability to link up and supply the killer pass.

a bit previous if you ask me

"Another improved showing" on Sunday...... Great.... How long before he's better than Vaz?

I know he's missed a few games but to be honest he looked out of his depth and shocked how little time he got on the ball.

I really hope he proves me wrong.

he's shown some nice touches and done ok holding the ball up, but its chances like the 1 in the first half on sunday where he hit a tame shot straight at green that suggest he's not going to be scoring the goals we really need. Still early days and will get a better idea how good he is in games where he has some decent service.

Tend to agree, I think he will come good and Megsons comment maybe increases pressure on Elmo, unneccesarily. Against Stoke he looked good and his sharpness / match fitness can only improve.

Id say its still too early to tell. He obviously wasnt fit on sunday but showed some good touches even though he was very isolated at times. Think he will come good after a few more games and he gets that match fitness back.

Agreed, he also needs a bit of time to adjust to the pace of the Premiership.

He'll come good :good:

As it happens, also the same Anelka who took about 8 league games to get his first goal. Elmander took about half an hour.

Class act.

Who did we sign Change from?

Don't know but a bit of Searching, whilst in the Glow of Love is required.

The Bristol Wurzels also support the motion.

The Kearsley Tiddlywinkers are of the expressed opinion that the classy Elmander we saw in the first home game against stoke [ and glimpsed a few brief moments in preseason ] has been kidnapped!!! It is also 'our' view he was replaced in the West Ham game with the same imposter who was paraded at the European Championships and looked a complete an utter donkey.

At a recent meeting not only was there a record number of Blitz's [ an attempt to pot all six winks of your own colour early in the game ] it was also unanimously decided we want the non-equine version of Mr Johan back. The readers of 'horse and hound' would also like to see the safe return of the imposter to a [ and I quote ] 'large field of longer grass with fences to graze'
