Come on Franko, i can't think of one Bolton manager down the years who comes across as so unbothered and ungrateful to be our manager.

Casino, are you being 'ignorant and naive'?

My comment about Mark Davies was in response to a post by Morphus77, saying forget Nolan and Cohen is the future, and i said you should judge Nolan over his long term contribution. I know what you wrote Traf , and still Nolan contributed more this season than either Davies or Cohen , fact actually .Not sure what your point is. I didn't say you were judging over longer than this season .

Nolan did fuck all bar shout, point and get booked.

Oh, and miss a pen which would have meant we'd have won a game more, been safe now and newcastle would have been further in the shit.

Good riddance to the useless fat Scouse fucker.

Why don't you fuck off with him?

that's a bit Harsh mate

I'm not pro anyone.

I do however have a grudging respect for Megson and the job in progress.

Presumably anyone not anti-Megson is pro-Megson in BN world?

Bollocks

with respect, i wasn't talking to you

you're at least capable of doing your own shoes up

DeanoH on the other hand probably hasn't got a clue

Bollocks

Nice one Satan. A well thought out, well structured and typical WW argument.

that's a bit Harsh mate

On reflection, you're probably right, mate.

Nolan deserved better than that, for the good work he did.

DeanoH, on the other hand, is typical of the type of person signing up recently.

A Wigan WUM? One always appears before we play them.

Bolty in answer to your points:-

a) I judge him slightly harsher because of his disrespect to our supporters (pathetic, this place, this club etc)and constant downsizing when he's talking about 'small Bolton '

b ) Agreed

c) His debut was excellent but i was putting it in context in relation to Nolan's contribution. (over his bolton career before some numbnut slags him off for this season)

Anyway back to Nolan, sorry for going off track

For me Megsons biggest failing is his inability to engage with the fans, he concentrates on the people who boo rather than the those that support, it is just bad management to talk about the negatives all the time.

Davies (M) did virtually nothing other than on debut, he has a long long way to go before his contribution is anywhere near that of Kevin Nolan.

There are a number of attacks on Kevin Nolan on this site and other delighting in his demise, to be honest i think they are fucking pathetic, he cost us nothing, sold for ?4m, scored more goals on the premiership than any other player. His form dipped and fans got on his back. Moving on seemed the right thing for him and Bolton, so far it has worked out better for us than him, but to take delight in his situation is not something i will do.

He is the one reason i woud like newcastle to stay up. FFS he scored twice at OT, he is one of the most influential players at Bolton in one of our most succesful teams in the clubs history.

Deano? No. I think he's for real: which probably makes it worse.

you'll be worried, but i agree

100%

There's not a single typo in Ani's post, I think someone's hacked his account.

Well said that man! Makes me sad that such a stalwart of the teams success over the last 8 years is given so much stick. I agree with everything above :good:

Thank you sir; I must admit I was proud of it, but I have to say I had to lie down in a darkened room for many an hour afterwards to recouperate. It's the mental strain, don't you know; Squidgy feels the same when he has to read tube train signs in order to get off at Putney Bridge instead of Parsons Green when we play Fulham/Chelsea. That's why the thick ćunt has fućked it up for the last two years

Worth a punt

Worth a punt

Is that Ryhming slang for Scouse Kunt?

I'd have Nolan back in a second.

I think Nolan will go back to his mentor big Sam, not sure that even sam can rejuvenate Nolan as he would need to put very good players/athletes around Nolan to make up for Nolan's lack of athleticism.

Watching some of our games from 2003/4 season and was struck by how slim Nolan looked. I remember an Everton fan telling me that Unsworth used to be a more mobile player before he bulked up and put too much muscle on. I wonder if that is Nolan's problem too?
