Is it more, or are more and more planes falling out the sky recently? I always remember working at Manny airport last year when a hole was in made inside the cabin floor accidentally and a part of the engine fell off, I had to tell the pax that the delay was a technical failure with the entertainment system. Couldn't tell them the truth 'cos no fcuker would want to fly! (well i wouldnt want to!)

They got their in one piece so they where reet!

Never trust First Choice/Thomsons!!

Not far off! Reckon the pilot lost the plot and tried to take the plane into space! No sh?tting you.

watching news now, says 6

that's all a bit f?cked up

it's disspeared off radar so no one knows where it is

if it came apart mid air and is in bits, they may not be able to trace it via radar when they go looking for it

and the atlantic is a bit big to look everywhere for bits of a plane

with any luck they'll have landed in an episode of lost

But there is a silver lining, it's not nearly as big as the Pacific; got to look for the positives

Fooking hate flying at the best of times.

Now to know that they can loose you is great news.

Most of the families will never be able to lay their loved ones to rest.

I'd definately say the passengers were loose!

Heard on the radio that the area where it is likely to have come down is a lovely area but and this is a big but infested with sharks! You know how the saying goes take a chance and fly Airfrance, poor buggers

The fooking thing was flying at 35,000 feet doing over 500mph. How the hell does it just disappear with no mayday call or anything? Even if both engines failed it would take quite a while to glide down into the sea.

Thankfully, this is a very rare event, if a plane is going to crash 99% of the time it is within a couple of minutes of take-off...

Sorry thats wrong ,its 5% on ground/taxing, 12% during takoff, 13 % climbing to altitude, 6% en route, 16% Descent and approach and the big one 45% landing.

An explosion would probably make it vanish

that's not comforting

I am at my worst on a flight for those couple of minutes after take off

you can get very high up inside two minutes

the general rule is, when a plane "moves" in mid air, be it a turn, turbulence, whatever, then so do my bowels

Read my reply, should help you a bit you just have to shit yourself on landing :pardon:

Apparently the cause of it was all a misunderstanding.

One passenger shouted, "Hi Jacques" to his mate.

The crew immediately put their hands up and the plane went out of control!
