They Are Falling Apart

Need red nose to fcuk off. That's when the rot will set in (unless they get Mourinho)

I find it hilarious that people are saying that hes left for the money, they offered him ?120,000 a week to sit on a bench at least the lads got balls to say he is prepared to go to a smaller club for more money and to play regularly!

They have massive problems, there losing a million a week despite there success and are 800 million in debt, ferguson is gradually losing his grip, ronaldo and now tevez have walked, Ribery/Messi/Villa and many of the top players would rather stay in continental europe, It is very similar scenario to the end of the Busby era, except we are in a different era and obviously they will not get relegated, but financially they are in very choppy waters, I hope and pray it all implodes on them.

Fact is that with 50% top rate tax, and a choice of living in Madrid or Barcelona or Milan rather than Alder;ley Edge, they won't attract the very top Continental players. I just hope that Tevez doesn't end up at the Massives.

I would say it was more to do with his Mr 15%

Some munich bastard, e-mailed into SSN saying that if there are no class players added to the team then he would not return to Old Trafford (like he ever went before). Are they so deluded that they are not just happy with Rooney, Berbatov, Ferdinand, Vidic etc. Fair enough it does seem to be going tits up, but fcuk me they're hardly in a mess, they're champions of England for fcuk sake.

sadly, history tells us when you think Utd are f?cked, they come back stronger

I hope they don't

but they are far from imploding

No chance of them imploding. No matter how much anyone wills it, they'll be stronger next season than this one.

As much as it pains me, I have to agree ... old red nose does not do things without a reason, hes shown players the day before and they seem to keep on getting stronger

Nope, they'll be weaker

Giggs and Scholes will contribute less and Ferdinand seems to have acquired a hard to solve injury

They've just lost a world class striker and also their best player - one of the best in the world who they can't replace directly, no matter who they sign

A couple of their signings of recent years have failed (Anderson and Nani) and perhaps Berbatov too

Liverpool have far greater chance of imploding than that shower, fingers crossed their debts will get the better of both clubs. Funny how the balance of power can swing so much from the Prem to Spain in one game.

I would have said anderson's been a sucess? would love to have him at bolton.

I don't think it's swung that much, we still have 3 semi-finalists in the Champions League. Barca are a class above, Real Madrid have been shit, buying everyone doesn't guarantee success.

What he said!

OK he's not scored but his overall play obviously has impressed fergie

Not enough to leave him on for the second half of the final though

I see nothing in him that sets him apart, he is just a boy compared to the Lampard/Mikel/Essien/Ballack/Gerrard/Alonso/Mascherano types of their rivals

United have Carrick, Anderson and Fletcher in comparison - as I say, Giggs, Scholes and Hargreaves probably can't be relied on for a full season

They need a few signings IMO, hopefully they will choose badly

F?ck 'em

why is everyone saying utd will be stronger no matter what .I hope they lose every game

the yanks make them come on the pitch dressed like obama and they go into admin and

get 30 point deductedalways look on runway for ice :drinks:

Nobody is saying they want United to come back stronger, just that they will . . . because they always do.

History tells me that when a dynasty comes to an end that it is often difficult to recapture former glory, 2 points in case are Paisley at Livepool and Busbys at Man U, in fact 6 years after winning the European cup in 68 Man U were relegated. The void these top managers leave behind is so big it is virtually impossible to bridge the gap.

Its the beginning of the end , the first cracks in the edifice .Probably take another season to kick in but once old

purple nose has gone & the massives have nicked some of their players...........
