no balls
I will be incommunicado due to being at the hairdressers this evening so will be purchasing the Buff on my way home. I'm expecting to see an away win in the pink paper! 0 - 2 Taylor, Elmander.
frank_spencer
an emphatic win tonight would be ideal. A scrappy win would be nice but wouldn't be encouraging to the baying masses a loss is pretty much unthinkable. we need to play our strongest 11 maybe giving the Korean his first start on the right

Gaz Nt
I honestly believe this is ourt best formation with the players weve got: -------------------Jussi-------------------- Steinsson---Cahill----Knight----Samuel ------------------Muamba---------------- Chung Yong----M. Davies--------Taylor ----------Elmander----K. Davies-------- ...We still need that goalscorer though....

Whisky Face
that confirmed?? Gartside has my fax in his hand ready to pass onto Megson. I'd be tempted to give Shittu a game too, but I think Knight needs the opportunity to build on his understanding with Cahill.

Otherwise spot on. Let's see if Megson is thinking along the same lines.

That looks a good side to me Gaz - When Gardner fit in for Chung and S Davies for M Davies maybe still abit confused what S Davis is in the side to do to be honest. Just thinking out loud here, but maybe GM sees Sean Davis playing alongside Muamba as a central partnership, whereby one goes forward and one holds and vice versa. Because it seems to me that GM doesn't just see Muamba as a defensive player: he wants him to use his obvious ability to break at reasonable speed, as he demonstrated well a few times on Saturday and also in the U-21 championships in the summer. magic legs
Seeing as we are running out of time, what about a punt for Andy Reid and playing him behind the striker. Could do with a bit more pace but he has Prem experience and has a great left foot, as evidenced by his chip over the keeper last night.

fruitbat69
I'd play the first team tonight irrespective of the concern of picking up injuries. Goals and a good win will give us confidence ahead of a game against a low on confidence red scousers
