today we lost because our defending was rubbish(being polite there). first 2 goals came from us losing possesion near their penalty area..

 

this should not distract from a shocking display by walton and his assistants.especially in the first half when davis was repeatedly fouled by essien and twat face terry..

In my opinion the referee was a complete disgrace how he protected Chelsea's players like that and gave us nothing when Kevin was repeatedly kicked.

Ricketts has to be dropped for steinsson. He has cost us far to many goals and is no better than steinsson going forward. Plus I don't think jussi rates/likes him very much.

 

Great game until pen, megson deservess a lit of credit matching their formation and stopping them playing.

 

Elmander played as well as I've seen him.

 

Cahill tried to be clever a couple of times and nearly got caught out.

 

After pen it was a none contest. Good game ruined by shit rule.

Nothing to worry about regards the moral of the team after today, that's not to say though that certain players should be worried about their place in the team.

Megson explained that Taylor was simply left out on what the boss considered the best team for today - no injury, no knock just dropped. A few of today's team need the same, for Ricketts I think his time is up but for Zac Knight I think he may just survive for another day...just!

I don't have an issue with night as he's better than others available. He's a simple out and out defender, he's never going to be pretty. But he still has to do the ugly things consistantly better.
