January 3, 201016 yr Soz about the spelling, but you know who I mean. Considering pompeys plight, I think it would be good to try and get him back...............?

January 3, 201016 yr Fcuk him, let him rot. Harsh. Why do you say that? He was offered a ridiculous amount of money to play for arguably the best team in the country at the time. I don't remember him ever showing Bolton any lack of respect.
January 3, 201016 yr Ben Haim was class, instead of just smacking it anywere, he had composure, sometimes running with the ball past players from defence all the way past halfway line, and he was a very good defender, miles better than Knightmare[not hard like]
January 3, 201016 yr Considering our defence I'd bite Portsmouth's hands off. Could end up with David Nugent if Coyle comes too.
January 3, 201016 yr bloody good shout this. i think he would jump at the chance to come back, and is exactly what we need.
January 3, 201016 yr have wee the funds for him and wages must still be high He hasn't been paid any wages for last month!
January 3, 201016 yr Is he that good? I think he is, Jose didnt sign him for nothing, him and Cahill at the back would be great IMO
January 3, 201016 yr Hes only played 43 games since leaving us. Only 13 at Chelski. Im not sure EDIT: He is better than Zat Knight granted Edited January 3, 201016 yr by superjohnmcginlay
January 3, 201016 yr He is as good a centre back we could hope to attract at the moment, and we know exactly what we would be getting. No nonsence, tidy, aggressive player, perfect compliment to Cahill
January 3, 201016 yr Id be happy with TBH coming back, he could be the ideal partner for Cahill. totaly agree
January 4, 201016 yr All we need to do is get some bed sheets with 'Tal Ben In' on them and shout his name a few times and we'll get what we want.

He would be the ideal partner for Cahill
January 4, 201016 yr Hope we only offer him half the money he wanted to stay though. Greedy fucker. Let's not forget that his wage demands were the reason he left us. Glory hunting at Chelsea. He would have probably been our captain and main stay of the team had he opted to stay. But..... yep, I agree, would be a good partner for GC.

He would have probably been our captain and main stay of the team had he opted to stay. Smiley, if someone offered you double wages to go and work somewhere else; would you take it? Regards him being captain and mainstay, etc. He could just as easily have been left floundering in the reserves like Hunt. I'd have him back in a flash. He's deffo what we need in the middle of our defence. Teams are sussing out that we often only have one central defender at times. Less than one if Cahill goes forward.

January 4, 201016 yr No but, provided the other defenders understand that they can't all go up at the same time, it makes him a good team player. If he can pop up with a few goals like Cahill then all the better. I just wonder if Cahill and TBH would play well together in central defence just because they both like to show a bit of silky skill going upfield. I'd take the risk though and let them create an understanding.
