As a proud Boltonian I do not want to see the EDL in Bolton. you only have to look at the typical EDL supporter to see that the group is just a joke. I tell you what what makes Great Britain so Great.... its being able to accept different ethnic origins and cultures in our societies. We should be proud that our country is able to do so. And if anybody thinks that ALL muslims are terrorists, then they should be in bolton on Sat with all the other Morons. I'm a member of the EDL, I am very patriotic to England, my country, I work with people from many different backgrounds, oh, by the way I not a moron.

A bit like saying all people northerners are thick, therefore if I had a job going i would nt interview someone from the North. Also lets be honest you can not tell someones religion by looking at him, so what this boils down is not 'all muslims' are terrorists but 'all packis' are, and in 'packis' you are including all asians. (by you i mean society not you persoanlly) I am very proud to be English. But I do not think the EDL in 'defending england' are defending the bits i think that make us so good.

frank_spencer Posted March 18, 2010 Posted March 18, 2010 I agree, sure it wasn't posted quite right but the fact remains that in recent times the major terrorist threat to these shores come from muslim extremists. There is also a threat from those opposing the power sharing in NI but nothing like the scale of before. During the bad times in Ireland the security forces profiled folk just like they do now only then it was the Irish race, now it is those following the muslim religion. As for the EDL, it was probably set up with good intentions after the scum that protested against the troops in Luton but has obviously been infiltrated by knuckle dragging racist idiots. Having said that, that Dads Army song doesn't show them in a good light IMO. So 20 not rights in Luton warrant thousands yomping through Bolton.

If, as they claim, they are in existence because of Islamic extremism, and Bolton has no history of it, then they're not casting their line in the right direction are they? There are enough places inthe UK which do have a more prevalent extmeist element to their Muslim communities, so why don't they go there instead of Bolton? Erm, might it be because in actual fact they just don't like Pakis and will have their little protests wherever they will find some? I think perhaps it might. Incidentally I was in a pub in Belfast lately chatting away to a bloke and something came on the telly about terror raids somewhere or other and the bloke, straight as you like said 'I don't think thy'll come here. How dare they bring religious extremism to our country.'

The EDL ws set up to raise a voice against those who verbally abused troops in Luton, who had just returned from the front line, I like being in the EDL because it gives me an identity, I am not allowed to be in th BNP or NF or C18 because of work, I want to join up with all the big skinhead lads and beat up anyone who does not fit the description of a typical Englishman, it gives me the freedom to scream abuse at anyone who opposes us, the group stands for England and everything English, so watch out!!!
