Well you defend as a team IMO. It is too way simplistic to say our defence is shit.

There is plenty of room for improvement but to just say 'the defence is shit' is overlooking other things. For example, what cover did the midfield provide for the full backs? did the fowards close down enough? How well did we pass and hold possession? etc.

 

I think we improved defensively as a team under Coyle and I am confident that the goals against will be much better next year.

Yes our defence is shit.

He scored 2 goals that I would have scored, and 1 was flukey as fcuk. (granted he still scored them)

Just because he scored a couple of goals it doesn't mean he's good, maybe Sunderland think Elmander is a world beater seen as he scored 2 against them last season.

I still maintain the Dindane is shit (IMO) and am glad that he will not be playing for us next season.

Like i said its only a text though the lad that sent it has a brother-in-law who works at The Reebok

One of the lads that comes on with us is friends with a few German / Croatians who work for German SKY and are good mates with Klasnic, from what they where saying he wasnt to happy with the ammount of action he got under Coyle. Think he fancies playing for his boy hood team of St Pauli (in hamburg) who have just been promoted back to the Bundesliga.

I think so, him and McCann signed in 2007 from Villa both with 3 year contracts. I cant see McCann being here either next year - think he will be at Bpool if they come up.
