Glastonbury 2010

not greatly impressed so far...

is it just me or does anyone else get the impression the majority of the crowd are middle class numpties in their late 30's trying capture the festival scene by putting on a silly hat, getting high on 'legal' highs whilst prancing round making strange faces every time a camera comes close.

oh and i know its been mentioned in a thread on here before, but cameras at concerts? why not enjoy the fucking band instead of trying to get a snap to send your mate in the cotswolds.

Glastonbury is 2nd only to creamfields in my list of festivals i'm never doing.

Perhaps back in the day it'd be fun but know it's massively over comercialised, massively over hyped and full of wankers.'

yep. id rather knock one out with a fist full of barbed wire than go to glastonbastard.

Each to their own, but standing in a field full of shit and piss listening to a fucking din isnt my cup of tea.

I cant be doing having a shit in a site portaloo with maybe a dozen blokes sharing it, let alone one with thousands of wankers who are too messy to see the hole.

BUT Smiffs, it's all part of the "spiritual" experience. Sure, you're sharing a confined bog that's hitting 120F and shitting onto 20 gallons of dysentry, but you're doing it on an ancient leyline so it's worth it. Druids wouldn't have complained.

The National have been easily the best I've seen up to now.

although not really my cup of tea.. muse seem to be doing a decent job,got the foot tapping a little to complement the beveridges consumed this evening.so cant complain.cracking little u2 thing going on.

even if there is a mass suicide mission taking place,in honour of the band as we speak at the back of the stage.
