COYW Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 NIghtcrawler - a good watch, Jake Gyllenhall is pretty good in it - and this chap also stars: He's very good in it too. One of the best films i've seen this year. Quote
DazBob Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Aye, I watched Nightcrawler last night too. Excellent. The 'vibe' of the film reminded me of Drive. Quote
Zico Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Fury - another good un, 8/10 Can't be arsed with tv shows at minute so getting few films under mi belt Quote
DazBob Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Fury - another good un, 8/10 Can't be arsed with tv shows at minute so getting few films under mi belt Agreed. Some ace deaths. Folk being squished by tanks and having their heads blown clean off by big tank bullets and ting. Brad Pitt is an ace actor. Next up for me is Guardians of the Galaxy. Quote
Zico Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Aye, I watched Nightcrawler last night too. Excellent. The 'vibe' of the film reminded me of Drive. The only critiscm i had was they seem to have missed the scene out where he swaps a carjacking video for anal with rene russo Quote

If so, will watch tonight. Did Nightcrawler last night. Very dark at times. Reminded me a bit of American Psycho. Enjoyed it. Four Lions guy getting some good parts these days. Quote

green genie Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 i'd say so, i watched it with the mrs and she really enjoyed it It's got Brad Pitt in it. Sister in law took nephew to World War Z and he wasn't bothered about going Quote

Vin Diesel put ridiculous amounts of work into voicing Groot considering his limited vocabulary. Quote

DazBob Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Next up for me is Guardians of the Galaxy. Watched this last night. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Groot is superb. Just finished watching Predestination. Fuck me, if you want your head to explode then watch this and have a good think about it afterwards. I enjoyed it but the bird didn't have a clue what was going on. Quote
Traf Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 I enjoyed it but the bird didn't have a clue what was going on. Could apply to most of life, mate. Quote
Zico Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Prisoners Was going well up until the last 20 minutes or so, which I'm not decided on yet Quote
Smiley Posted December 15, 2014 Author Posted December 15, 2014 Horrible Bosses 2. Don't bother. Utter garbage. Quote
Maggie Tate Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Snowpiercer. The best film you've never heard of but should have. Quote
L/H White Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, yesterday Quote
Sweep Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Horrible Bosses 2. Don't bother. Utter garbage. The first one was shit, but made slightly bearable by Jennifer Aniston being filth in it. No such perks this time then? Quote
barryk32 Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Snowpiercer. The best film you've never heard of but should have. That'd be The Boondock Saints. My all time favourite. Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Watched National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, yesterday A fine choice, the Griswolds are class Quote
bgoefc Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 'Gone Girl'. Bit disappointing after all the hype, especially the ending. Tonight was when me and wifey and daughter watched this. Ending was the best bit for me, defo a chick flick but intriguing until the plot became apparent. 5/10. Obviously they thought it was far better than I. Quote
Elson Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Watched The Equalizer tonight, well fell asleep for 20mins which says alot, and then Denzel was doing his quiet angry bit at the end. They didn't even have this beauty playing at any point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uB1NiNKwueE Quote
