Non League Chatter

A few weeks away yet, but this could be the biggest attendance Victory Park have had for many a year with it being a title cruncher. Come on Chester beat those Leigh stealing body-snatchers.

A date for your diaries, on Saturday 4th July Atherton Collieries will play Bolton Wanderers, Neil Lennon has said he will bring a good squad down

  • I'm very fair and even handed on this one. I hate both sets of cunts.

  • Said nobody ever

Fair enough. If Bolton were not for me anymore I'd sack it off and do a few games abroad a season instead. Couldn't be arsed watching someone else and would find something else to do with my time

Haha I'd pay some other mug to do it from all my cash saving on Saturdays ????

Anyone go to colls on Saturday? I know it was a reserve team but how did heys play?

Heys gave a good account of themselves, played some decent stuff at times without ever looking particularly threatening.

Their number 7 was, let's say 'theatrical' at times, didn't know we had a resident sniper in the trees

2 games on at heys Saturday, fun day going on etc

Think I'll be there

Play some very good football were unlucky not to go up last year. Surprised at the diving bit disappointing. Went to the annual fun day last year, good day out in the sun. Few Salford fans go watching heys since the takeover.

Charnock Richard v Atherton Colls Tuesday 17th I’ll be having some of that.

Did Tom play for Colls? Believe he's back from Australia?

Yes, he's fitted in well.

Tom is a cracking lad and a very decent footballer, he certainly handles himself very well

Great player. Always wonder how good you have to be to make it as a pro. Rochdale didn't fancy him when he was there.

I once played 5 a side against a lad called peter Thompson

He had played pro for Luton

Unbelievably strong and skilful

you colls lads going glossop saturday?

do they have a clubhouse?

Edited by L/H White

Yes and yes. Not the biggest like. Pies highlight recommended.

Looks like Glossop for me, should be a good opener for Colls this.

There should be a good turn out for this

Fucking lovely them things

Best I've ever had at a match

Will see the colls massive this evening

Cracking game at Colls. Shame about the result. Would have won comfortably with 11 men I reckon. Absolute joke of a red card.

Revenge will be sweet in the FA Cup on Saturday

It did lool a straight red from where I was stood, but having seen the clip this morning it appears to be a terrible decision from the officials.

Colls far better side until the sending off and unlucky not to score on a couple of occasions in the 2nd half with 10 men

"he's nearly caught it", you know when the ref embellishes the story that they are on dodgy ground, like they are trying to convince themselves.

must admit i thought it was  red card, bur gregs reaction proved me wrong, colls were a yard quicker, fitter than them, thought connor gaul was outstanding last night, lets hope gregs hand doesn't keep him out to long

Chorley now played 7 won 7. A cracking start!
