Both AFC Fylde and Fleetwood reckoned Conference North was the hardest league to win. Ordinarily you’d have the relegated sides to be favourites, but they’re generally crisis clubs when they come down from the Football League. Entirely possibly that Salford could push for the play offs with the right recruitment.

Looks like it. Had a poor start, then had a good little run only to finish the season again in poor form.

He was at Colls on Monday watching one of their young lads, looks like he was trying to build the club up in the right way and got potted for inheriting a shambles and not immediately winning the league.

He was quite animated when his lot played at Blyth a couple of weeks ago and did much pointing. Can’t thInk who might have taught him that. In his defence his team, bar one or two, were cloggers esp at the back. Don’t know what they expected of him really but I think they lost 6 in a row up to that game.
