Carlos Posted May 1, 2018 Posted May 1, 2018 Generally not a prob as people aren’t on (long) contracts. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Today's the day, a measure of how far Colls have come, we play Coalville Town in the Integro Cup Final at Alfreton Town 19.45 KO, as a premier division side Coalville are the favourites but our lads will not be fazed as we beat a decent premier division side in the semi final on their own ground [Hednesford]. There are 2 full coaches and numerous cars going so a good support is guaranteed #cleggysblackandwhitearmy #prideofatherton Quote
Carlos Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 It's being broadcast live on the Evostik League Facebook page. We're on our way! Quote
DirtySanchez Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Wonder how he'd take to players undermining him and sulking for monthsHas his wife commented on it yet? Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Bloody brilliant. God knows how good it felt for the likes of Athy white who have been going to Colls for donkeys years when 50 was considered a good gate and then taking 150+ two hours away on a weeknight. Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Oh and I’ll hold my hands up that I cashed out at 2-1 to be on the safe side Quote
LeggyMountbatten Posted May 2, 2018 Posted May 2, 2018 Well done Colls. Great result for Chorley tonight as well. Quote
birch-chorley Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 Chorley can’t get to another play off final surely  These play offs become much harder with the extra game Quote
QFPants Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 They were excellent last night, fully deserved to win. Big ask Sunday on Harrogate’s plastic pitch though Quote
L/H White Posted May 3, 2018 Posted May 3, 2018 (edited) They were excellent last night, fully deserved to win. L/H White Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Salford parted company with their managers  I feel Neville and co have wanted this for a while  Won't be suprised if they give it to chris casper  3 promotions in 4 years, and they couldnt agree a deal with them  wankers Quote
Casino Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Watching the doc they both wanted manager money  And fucking klopp could win their league with their budget Quote
Traf Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Watching the doc they both wanted manager money  And fucking klopp could win their league with their budget  Correct, they both wanted full salaries, but they've apparently asked for and been refused double this time. They've then come the billy big bollocks..."Without us etc etc..." and they've been potted instead. Quote
Ghana White Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Been told the atmosphere has been bad there for a while, all the new fans want to win every week and watch great football. Rumour was they wanted rid for a while, not sure where they'll go now? Be crap if they end up back on the bins. Quote

People are soon to forget what they did at rammy  They are promotion machines  Maybe a club like chorley may come kocking? Maybe them 2 could finally get them over the line?  Possibly chester to Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Depends on whether they want a full-time gig or not, but I’d they felt they weren’t being paid enough at Salford then I wish them the best of luck getting half as much anywhere else. Quote
Casino Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Indeed  Massive budget  Blew Chorley out of the water 3 years back Quote
Ghana White Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 They had the biggest budget this season in the division. Got told the club completely budgeted on going up. I'm enjoying Salford "fans" saying how outrageous it is after it was all built by ruining Rammy United. I can't see them getting enough anywhere that will stop them going back to work.. unless bury take a punt..... Quote
Salford Trotter Posted May 8, 2018 Posted May 8, 2018 Depends on whether they want a full-time gig or not, but I’d they felt they weren’t being paid enough at Salford then I wish them the best of luck getting half as much anywhere else.I was told last night that they wanted £90k each last season but that was the total budget for the Manager. They came to a compromise with the club through bonuses and add ons but no where near what they wanted and their bluff has been called this time. It doesn't make sense as the top earner on the playing staff is on £100k+ and there are a few on good salaries with the remaining 18 players.  As for balancing the books they are some way from doing that. If they sold 1000 STs at £100 then they cover just the salary of the best paid player so they don't seem to want to balance the books anytime soon. Quote
