Bolton 2 Everton 0

Great win. Looked unbalanced with Elmo on the right, LYC has got to be starting for me. Good job we've got Wheater, looks like he'll be getting a few starts now.

Ref was awful.

And not going to disagree with the Felani comments, he's a disgrace.

  • Saha to score 1st goal.

  • What was most encouraging was the strength on the bench, when you think that we have struggled with the subs all season: Bogdan, Petrov, Lee, Klasnic, Muamba, Rodrigo, Wheater

I wish Holden's 'goal' was allowed, that was a great assist from Sturridge, it would have been fitting after another MOM performance from the Holdenator IMO.

Not the greatest game, especially from Everton, that was one of the worst away performance I've seen from a team at the Reebok.

Thought Johan was hit 'n miss, some sloppy play, that Sturridge wasn't happy about, but got back well and came close to scoring a belter, but it drifted wide.

Thought K.Davies had his best game for a couple of months, passed it far better, but still with a few errors like stumbling whilst dribbling and a few passes cut out.

Glad for Lee for in someway make up a little for his mistake at Goodison by assisting Sturridge, should such a small man like Lee be winning headers though? who cares, that's for the Everton fans to worry about.

Sturridge at times can be a little greedy and did get intercepted a few times, even had a rather rushed shot from 30 yards when a simple ball was on, but he makes up for that with his ball control and quick feet, 3 goals in 3 games, who needs Vela? I think he looks like he can score all the time.

Great 3 points, our goal difference is back in the positive[+1] and another clean sheet, encouraging stuff going into a Cup week, let's hope this time next week we'll be in the quarters of the cup and looking at maybe a place in Europe.

COYWM!!!! :yahoo:

Pissed + won = more pissed

pretty good performance today thought holden mom

m davies looks quality when on the ball and wins a fair few tackles aswell

defence looked pretty solid through out only remember everton havin 1 chance

worked hard up front with sturridge giving us a outball

all in all 7/10

Thought Elmander did a decent job on Baines meself. ref was making wrong decisions everywhere.

Everyone in the ground saw the handball just outside the box 2nd half yet the ref cant from 5 yards away!

anyway decent performance and a welcome 3 points. Only blotch on the day was ive fucked my suede adidas right up walking back to the car!

Wigan next on Weds FANCY A CUP RUN NOW!!!

COYWM

Just seen SSNews Jack Wilshire was at the Reebok tday, good to hear :good:

Thought Elmander did ok today, Wheater did well, but what a challenge Knight made.

None of the doom mongers on here tonight then? Funny that.

Really looking bright heading to Wiggin on Wednesday now. I think Chung will make all the difference if he gets played. Another runout for Wheater as well while Zat's out. Hope he's not to crocked!

I think if Coyle wants to fit in Elmander, SKD and Sturridge, then he has to play Elmander out left, Lee was no doubt given a rest, I guess we have decent players to rotate a little. I think in the summer our left wing should be looked at, I doubt Petrov will want to stay if he doesn't play, he seems to me the kinda player who probably goes home feeling pissed off and he's only happy when he scores. Talented player, but been hit 'n miss, more miss than hit like.

Not sure if Moreno will see much football now, might get a game v Wigan and Fulham though.

Agree. you play sturridge you drop elmander* or davies.

* he does that its final nail in coffin of whether he stays or go's which is the only reason i can see why hes starting wide

Good win that. Everton are poor and the miss by Cahill summed it all up for them.

Nice to get another clean sheet and Wheater looked solid.

is the only resson not that he's the best player that position at this current time? (ie lee is fucked and we have no other right wingers)

does anyone know how long mark davies' contract has to run?

elmander gave his lot for the team

he fcuked up just once and baines showed in that moment how well elmander did

baines is their best player and elmander negated his threat

fellaini is a real threat, but he does it by being a nasty fcuker and intimidates folk

sturidge does nowt but score

is the only resson not that he's the best player that position at this current time? (ie lee is fucked and we have no other right wingers)

Doubt that, Moreno played on right more than enough times, Lee isn't fucked either, if he is, he hides it well but appreciate he doesn't wand to burn him out

You just can't drop davies, that's why elmander is on the right

is the only resson not that he's the best player that position at this current time? (ie lee is fucked and we have no other right wingers)

lee is better there.

and if he isnt fully fit, which is debatable, once he is elmander sits on the bench for me

dare i say, sturridge was poor except for his goal. dallied on the ball far too much.

hopefully thats just getting used to his new teammates.

knows where the net is though, thats for sure.

is that not what i said?

zico, rodrigo is a left winger all day long for me, and should be no where near the right wing.

does anyone know how long mark davies' contract has to run?

just signed new 4 an half year contract 25grand a week

Just seen SSNews Jack Wilshire was at the Reebok tday, good to hear :good:

Shaun Wright Phillips was there also. Saw him mesen outside.

Well played today Bolton.

just signed new 4 an half year contract 25grand a week

Is that Fact??

Anyway Mark Davies, although not the best player, is certainly the best footballer at the club, we need to keep that one

Great 3 points and much needed.

Piss funny before the game, few Everton fans walking down the small grass slope in front of the

hotel when...........................

You guessed it, one fell flat on their back, covered in mud - all over. :yahoo:

Put all your clothes in your purple bin when you get back !!!!!!

Wheater was my man o match, won everything in the air and was first to the ball

Fellani wants stabbing
