:good: <--- and a thumbs up from him.

I'll admit that in the past I ain't been a fan, and I've made that clear on the forums, however this season I have to say he's not only won me over, I actually think he's a decent player with the ball.

He's no left wing back or ought and doesn't really overlap that much[my preferred type of player], but he's a great tackler and very passionate, he's also a very good passer, he's cut out the majority of long balls since Coyle came IMO, in the past I think he was doing more of 'em just like Z.Knight does still now.

I like the way when he get's the ball he gives it back with one touch, it must give him confidence knowing players like M.Davies and S.Holden will give him the ball and then find space to recieve it back. Can't say the same for Taylor though, even though he does more of a defensive job than say a Petrov, I don't think he's suited to a passing style because of his poor open play game, sometimes I feel he makes runs into blind spots and he isn't pacey enough or tricky enough to get past a player, his crossing hasn't been that great this season.

Back onto Robinson, when we got Alonso, I thought Coyle was looking for a new player there, but full credit to Robbo, he's playing well and each game he's usually in the top 1-3 players, overall I would put him in 2nd place for player of the season behind the Holdenitor, who will probably walk it because one again he was class today.

Robbo's celebrations are class too, diving on a pile on, that cool little dance thing with Holden at Wolves was

Under megson ... Shite

Under coyle , second only to Holden . Stunning turn round for someone who was a journeyman at best . Undroppable

He actually gets my vote for player of the season! He has been inspired this season, got his head down and got with a great job!!

Was thinking the same today

2nd after Holden

Genuinly looks arsed as well. Would probably be candidate for captain without Big Kev.

not the best player in the team but not the worst

I hated the fooker I may eat a word or two

If you went on a journey through Iraq with Robinson, I reckon he'd protect you, SOLID!

Hated him at first.....now i think he should be one of the first names on the teamsheet.Well done Robbo - havin' a decent season imo :good:

I like Robinson. He's angry.

I like Robinson. He's angry.

100% every time, he's angry for sure. He looks happy to be here as well, and determined not to let anyone down. He's not the best but you've got to like his enthusiam.

I like him, I bet he's mucky. :D

I've changedy opinion. Just goes to show what a new gaffer cam inspire

that's a disgraceful thing to say.

what do you class as mucky by the way?

have to admit I was not a fan, but he's been superb this season.

Aye, got to love his enthusiasm. Plus, I'd like him on my side in a wild west saloon bar brawl.

I've always said Robbo doesn't get the credit he deserves in terms of his ability on the ball, he is an excellent passer - defensively he can get exposed due to lack of pace and height but not much he can do about that and as long as he makes up for it in effort, commitment and desire he's on the team sheet - him as captain is a great shout if we go in to next season with only him & Alonso at left back, as I've said I think SKD as captain was a mistake and still is

To be fair he probably started it

doesnt wash his bellend

Top notch for me this season.

I was very sceptical when he joined, but fair play he is consistent, gives 100%

and for me he is in the running for player of the season.

Hats off to you lad. :good: =D>

My player of the season!

I would have loved to have seen him play for us at burnden,I think one or two wingers would have left with top cinder rashes.

There's some crackers if you put Robinson into the Search thing

my problem with OC is that he sticks with that dogshit left back Paul Robinson. He is a liability.

:pardon:

Every decent Bolton team (or any team for that matter) has always had a hard man/enforcer. We've had Roy Greavo, Tommy Banks, The Stig etc. in our past.

When Liverpool dominated they had Tommy Smith, Souness etc.

We need a Robbo.
