Parking was free plus, i introduced another little wanderer to his first ever match and he enjoyed it, mesmerised in fact, even with the low crowd and poor match. so, just when I'd got rid of bringing the oldest (own season ticket with mates now, too cool to go with me) , I'm now back to bringing two little uns to the match, hoping to have a pint at the match sometime around 2025 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And he had nippy little spaniards running at him all night. He won most of his tackles and I can't remember anything getting past him??? Kicked a couple of them and got an elbow in the head for his trouble. superkev Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 We always knew that Robbo is not good enough but we dont have an alternative First team with an half decent defence and we draw a blank - unless we get TWO quality strikers in we wont score many goals this season. Our only option to open up defences is out for the season and it looks bleak. Watched Blackpool 2nd half tonight and they look very good. My first reaction when Klasnic turned in Petrov's woeful effort was 'offside' - only a TV replay would say for sure. No idea about their goal. BUT ..... none of that changes how poor the current squad is (minus the injured players). Fot a friendly, I though we showed good workrate and commitment - quite a few lunging tackles, despite recent broken legs. The quality is just not there for the Prem.
