Apparently SH had a swelling on his knee after his first team outing. Not in itself unexpected, but examination revealed cartilage damage.

 

So waiting for him to lift the team is not an option. It is very much down to the supporters to give their backing, 'cos obviously the media will have us as relegated. The team has to build confidence, and this can't be done without true support.

 

PS a Harrogate Town player broke his leg away to Vauxhall Motors last night, his dad got him home for 5.30 am, and he caught a train south to attend a work course near Watford at 10am!

I've never known Bolton to have such bad luck in such a short space of time. There's nothing we can do about it now though. Hopefully a decent October and we will forget about of injury problems.
