MickyD Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Norwich just got a last-kick penalty to make it Norwich 3 Blackburn 3
jules_darby Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I torn Can't see how he can not get the boot But can't think if anyone we'd get that I'd want Grim
Grasshopper Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Well we've had some shocking luck but we should be able to muster up better than this. Manager carries the can, think he'll walk after this. He'll never walk unless pushed but who would come in
MickyD Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 I think OC's problem is sticking by his Burnley backroom staff. I think he's related to half of them. The sooner they all go, with or without OC, the better.
Butterfly Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 lets have fcuking brendan rogers then cos his lot have just shown how 'footballing' teams play theyve outpassed us, out thought us and out worked us stop trying to deflect blame from the clueless fcuker Swansea have better players in their team. The problem we have got is the players aren't good enough, it's not the manager. Sacking Coyle and bringing in Erikson, McClaren, Grayson or whoever won't change the fact that we have squad of poor players. The best eleven without Holden and Lee is a relegation team whoever the manager. This isn't a Sammy Lee situation where any manager in the top 3 divisions could come in and keep a team with Anelka, Davies and Diouf as the forward line up.
mickbrown Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Can we even afford to sack him? Can we afford not to? Going down will cost a fuck of a lot more than his severance money

Hes signed some of the shite in the team though, eagles pratley etc. Gartside in the summer, i can promise the fans some exciting bosmans, fking pratley. Shite. Shop on the fking continent if youve limited resources not BRITISH SHITE FROM LOWER LEAGUES
beer_swiller Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Whether sacking him will make any difference I`m not too sure. How about some assistant, would work out cheaper in the long run.

Arrested development Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Most people thought today that our fullbacks would be put under a lot of pressure. They didn't cause problems until we had ten men. Our problem was the midfield. Davies, pratley and Reo-coker did not close down and press. Way too much space for their midfielders. There is no point playing three in midfield if they won't close down. casino was right earlier, why can't Owen see this. That Chelsea goal when David Luiz ran from his own box should of been seen as a warning. Mark davies is shit. His goal against blackpool was almost a year ago and he has done nothing since. Pratley was shite and Nigel just plays simple passes. He is not a leader. The midfield needs sorting, as others have said, Muamba needs to be included. We need him especially away from home.

(I half expected us to sell Cahill and sign Clark Carlisle on deadline day tbh) I don't claim to have any answers, but surely they can be organised and play as a team better than we have been. Can't they ?

Their players wont be on megabuck salaries but they are punching well above their weight.
tarian1979 Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 looking forward to the coyle interview on Soccer Saturday to see what positive have been taken from todays barclays premier league game

How much do Swansea pay their players? A good sight less than us, I'll wager. We have got some decent players who are poorly organised. Just can't understand not playing Muamba. Or playing Petrov in a must get a result away game. Coyle is a decent man, but I'm afraid he won't turn it round. We aren't getting beaten but wopped every time.
onlyoneawalker Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Well this is truly grim and i have to hold my hands up i thought some posters on here were just being contrary casino, traf, homer, anewman, jules saying coyle was overrated and his signings were shite but you called it right - what a fucking shame - the best we can hope for now is someone to come in and "Do a Megson" to keep us up and that's not an under handed dig at Megson by the way. 13 losses in 15 league games is just a total farce - I feel sick - this is like finding out the unreal fit bird you pulled on Bali Beach actually has a cock and balls..............I'm going to pub to get leathered
victor meldrew Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 thats yer lot owen. even with 5 in midfield we were clueless. anyone who says cocker is any good , you're blind. we were passed to pieces through out the game. clattenberg was his usual crap, but gardener was destined to be sent off.. sorry for all the bolton fans who went, you deserved more. oh and did anyone notice gartside's face after the second goal.. he knows what he has to do.

gregbwfc Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 looking forward to the coyle interview on Soccer Saturday to see what positive have been taken from todays barclays premier league game Hope to god he doesn't come out with "it's the first time Swansea have conceded at home this season". This could well tip one or two folk over the edge. What did crack me up though, was on the bbc live coverage. When we scored, there shots on target went from 9 to 10. It's got to that stage, gotta find some humour.
sirnatlofty Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 next week is going to be a repeat of wembley.....there is nothing that anyone can do about it.
