SatanGreavsie Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 was it really that bad? Allied to a 380 mile drive, yes. Plus it was full of welsh and the bloody park and ride was a slag heap out in some mist strewn wilderness...I was happy to get gone before darkness fell I can tell you bach, yes indeed I should add that I'm not adding the gin to the SB; I'm not that uncouth
gonzo Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 i normally get pissed off when Motd put us on last.... im hoping they might just forget to put us on at all!....
whiteyboy Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 Looks like Owen isn't going anywhere soon. Mr Gartside's tweets suggest we are in a period of transition and Owen will come good... I'm slightly concerned
Bobcat Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 jesus that was awful....even some dim wit commentator was highlighting the gaps between midfield and defence.... wake up coyle you god botherer...
no balls Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 i normally get pissed off when Motd put us on last.... im hoping they might just forget to put us on at all!.... Oh is it on? I'm not having BWFC hurt me all over again. Fuck that, I'm watching a documentary about the LMG. Mentalists them! After that, it might be the old faithful DVD of the Reading play off whilst putting my fingers in my ears and telling myself it's going to be ok.
gonzo Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 jesus that was awful....even some dim wit commentator was highlighting the gaps between midfield and defence.... wake up coyle you god botherer... never trust anyone thats teetotal.... look at fergie...quite clearly an acoholic....but what a great manager.

no balls Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 and you still didn't say yes No, you're right, I didnt.
Boltimore Posted October 29, 2011 Posted October 29, 2011 We played ok in first half. Went down stairs had a pint and came back up and we were 1 nil down and 10 men. I was fuckin livid. I think we are poor but is it bad luck? Knackered and gutted.
Traf Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 If Coyle is sacked ( and he certainly couldn't have any complaints about it), would you trust the current chairman & board to recruit the right man for the job? I wouldn't.
Guest bwfcdan Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Just got home. Just under 22 hour day, all for that shite. Gutted.
Traf Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 1-3 Our form guide continues to look like a Welsh dictionary LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL I draw no satisfaction from this prediction being correct: however I did relieve Paddy Power of a reasonable amount of money to soften the blow.
waffer cup 07 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Some seem to be looking at the new players in the side saying they are not good enough, like that's the season for our results this season, but they weren't in the side post Stoke when we were equally bad. IMO our 3 worse players Robinson, Steinson and Petrov and the obvious loss of Holden and Chungy are part of the reason for recent results but unfortunately you've got to look at the coaching staff and the main man. As others have said, he either needs help quickly or he goes.
burnden Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 If Coyle is sacked ( and he certainly couldn't have any complaints about it), would you trust the current chairman & board to recruit the right man for the job? I wouldn't. Definitely not
MickyD Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Just watching the Sky Sports extended highlights. Some observations: Clattenburg seems to give free kicks against us when the ball hits the arm from close in. He doesn't do it against Swansea. There are lots of times when you get to see about 25=30% of the pitch in one shot. That pitch picture contains around three swansea players and NO Bolton players! Our midfield is desparate for lessons on closing down the opponents. Petrov's name has just been mentioned for the first time. 2 minutes before half-time! The whole team look very nervous. Gardner's second booking, whilst harsh, was to be expected with Clattenberg in charge. We know he's a picky fucker. ore importantly, so do the players who, once booked, can't do much else except make sure you don't get booked again. Eagles couldn't tackle a decent meal! Mavis likes to run sideways. He likes to pass slightly behind people. He doesn't seem to understand the concept of passing to where the player will be in 2-3 seconds. That was never a penalty. He got the ball. Problem is, he went through the player as well. See previous comments about Cuntenberg! Backwards is the direction of choice for the whole of the defence. Eagles shouldn't be pinging free kicks in from the half way line. That's a fullback's job. (IMO) I'd rather have Eagles playing just behind the area so he can pick up the loose ball. N'gog probably isn't the answer if the question was, "If we want a target man, who do we pick?" Our players can't control a ball. hey all look very nervous. This was evidenced right from kick off so I think it's a mind thing rather than an ability thing. The crossbar was one of our best players in the second half. I don't think Robbo knew too much about his goal-line clearance. If you all push up to get an equliser, expect them to break into an empty half of pitch. Despite Biff's assertion elsewhere that the sending off didn't alter the game. It did! we struggled like fuck to fill midfield throughout the second half. We're in deep, deep shit!
Breightmet Boy Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 If Coyle is sacked ( and he certainly couldn't have any complaints about it), would you trust the current chairman & board to recruit the right man for the job? I wouldn't. The same ones who appointed Sammy Lee, Gary Megson and now Owen Coyle, no I can't !
anewman Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 my take on it is, get rid of coyle now, approach, hughes, o'neill, sven and even mcClaren, get them in in november then he has the rest of the month and the whole of december to get his head around the shit that has been brought in, then in january he can decide who he's keeping who hes fucking off and who hes bringing in then he has 5 months to save us because I am sorry to say but owen coyle has lost it big time
