I've been waiting for a celebrity to die all wekk, looks like Jimmy's fixed it for me.

The programme Louis Theroux did with him is the best thing he has done.

A true one off, RIP.

He used to be a Pro-Wrestler n'all.

It'd be a good competition to see who's more bonkers him or flair

Dear Jim, it's Owen here. Can you help me.....

err I'll get me coat!

He was only a few days off his 85th birthday.

Close but no cigar!

I ran next to him for about a mile in the Great North Run a few years ago. Wondered why everyone was shouting Jimmy in my direction!

Mad as a shithouse rat, but a top man RIP.

I think I read once he worked as voluntary porter in a hospital in his later years.

He did it at the height of his fame as well, not just his later years, at St. James' in Leeds

He did it at Stoke Manderville too. You've got to have patience to do a job like that :)

Had a little house in Scotland by a bridge

My grandad reckons that they were repairing the bridge once causing roadworks so he let a load of folk on a coach that was waiting there for ages in his gaff to use the loo

Good egg

Bombarded the man with requests for a fix it as a kid. Miserable bastard.

Full marks for his charity runs though!

very private man i know ? but did he ever have a proper bird?

You think?

I thought it was a bit disturbing tbh. He didn't come across very well at all.

I remember some years ago reading some transcripts from unaired foorage of an appearance he made on Have I got News For You. Paul Merton laid into him in a big way with regards to inappropriate behaviour with kids. Was quite shocking.
