Unlikely and/or unpopular this might be, but, I read a rumour WhiskyFace is looking to farm out/sharpen up fringe players after their showing against Palace last week. In particular Macheda and Biram-Diouf, thoughts anyone?

I'd have said the same about Sturridge this time last year - OK, maybe not (how many times did he show for the ball/make runs on Saturday?)

 

But are we going to stick with Post and Stumpy? Eagles corner, SKD rooted to spot, Kyle Walker easily wins it, bish-bash-bosh - Goal! Spurs. There's no place for sentiment, nor is any one player bigger than the club...

 

EDIT: I was thinking more along the lines of - who would want to send anyone to improve, rather than to reduce their wage bill, given our poor form and the fact we'll be scrapping for our lives.

I agree the loaning of Kakuta and Tuncay has been absolutely pointless, not even had a chance.

Hasn't he just pledged his footballing future to Ghana? - presumably that means he'll be buggering off to the African Cup of Nations for most of January, so probably won't be a right lot of good.

 

Somebody like McEcharan would be great, but not sure if we could lure him on loan if we're propping up the division at that time, plus I guess the fact that we haven't played Kakuta much won't have gone down too well at Chelsea either

Owen Hargreaves- looks fit now but not getting regular games at City- maybe a useful 5 months to showcase his talents

Coquelin and Miyachi from Arsenal. Them two are quality and will be superb in the future imo. My spelling of their names might be a bit ropey though
