Cahill - Wil It Be Overturned

I bet it is n't.

Ref gave card as he saw it at the time, what will he say he missed?

Equally will the Chelsea lad get a three game ban for the foul at Newcastle? I would be less surprised as ref said after game to Pardew that he got it wrong.

  • No he was being a cunt. He said he thinks a red was justified but under the current rules its a yellow. He thought Parker would of got to goal without anybody getting to him first which its bollocks.

  • When did Scott Parker cease being Ray Wilkins and turn into Lionel Messi?   There's no way he'd have even attempted a sprint on goal from that far out. He'd have stopped, waited for Gareth Bale to c

Even if it had been red, it would be one game, not 3, same with Cahill.

This is the same ref that sent Cahill off at Arsenal, if memory serves was that also a harsh sending off?

It was a yellow at most, a goal scoring opportunity from that far out, come off it,

Meh, could have gone either way this one. You just dont get the breakes when your down the bottom.

It could be harsh, but he sythed him down.

In no way is it cut and dry either way.

hardly, he just stopped him running, it wasnt even a tackle.and it certainly wasnt dangerous

i can't see it being overturned

but

no way can that be classed a clear opportunity to score

for a start, he scores once every blue moon

secondly, i'm faster than him

Meh. Takes a few watches to make a clear decisons for me. Hard for ref to get it right in real time.

Move on.

Think it might have been overturned, but Coyle has gobbed off about Riley- perhaps he should have waited until AFTER the appeal.

Suprised if it was overturned, any how Cahill should not have been show boating for Redknapp what the fook was he thinking, sooner he is sold the better.

I don't think it'll be over turned. The ref will put in his report he saw it as a goal scoring opportunity and therefore had to send him off.

Struggling to understand how you are defending the referee! When it was such a blaytantly wrong decision.

struggling why you can't understand he's playing his silly little games

hahahhahaha :good:

did they overturn the one from the same referee last season, in the pretty much the same position, and with the same defender in question?

if they didn't, then I wouldn't expect them to overturn this one

They didn't but last time it was for "dangerous play" rather than goal scoring chance. Still, I'll be surprised if they even bother looking

Indeed.

Give the utter contempt shown to Coyle by Mike Riley, I'll expect the FA to go down that route as well and return the appeal letter unopened after wiping their arse with it.

Ban increased due to "frivolous appeal", the panel will view the video and see that there was a covering defender, but as it was Zat Knight, it was indeed a goalscoring opportunity.

nice one Traf.

Considering it`s Bolton Wanderers the conspiricy will continue. The red card will remain and we must suffer as a result. As someone said, when your down your fucking right down.

We must be the most unluckiest club in that league if not the entire country.

Btw Wheater is banned for 4 matches (not 3).

Why's that? Second red of the season i presume? :pardon:
