If I was involved, I'd be taking this to the highest court in the land. Opened a right can of worms now. If they are going to hand out bans like this based on pissy evidence, I can see the unscrupulous using this as a tactic to weaken an opponent for a period of weeks. Daft and OTT. its not just one mans word against the other aparently there are on the pitch witnesses who can confirm the shite he came out with. The lad should be banned from football, plus the fact he's a cheating little prik. Kids idiolise footballers which is why its important any kind of racism (whether in the heat of the moment or not) isnt tolerated. That can be just as hurtful to somebody in them cases. A bad tackle will be reported as an assault and players will be getting arrested on the pitch at this rate. Evra is a right cunt with stuff like this though. Apparantley even the ref put in his report that when he booked Evra he asked him if it was because he was black!
