HomerJay Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 comical Obviously the said scouser was holding Suarez's hand whilst suarez and evra discussed the colour of evra's skin Wanker Quote
THunter Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 scouser on radio wants liverpool to take FA to court for libel (slander ?) as they are making false accusations against the player, the club and the fans by making this desicion. he did not make much sense and reminded me of derek hatton. He sounded like Lily Savage to me. Quote

Pablo Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 These cunts are a fooking joke, and do NOT represent Scousers. Joke of a club, joke fans ! Quote
Youri Djorkaeff Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Evra - "Why did you kick me" Suarez- "Because you are black" And thats just a fragment of the shite he said ! A few people on this thread have said the punishment is harsh and its all PC .. etc. etc. Bolocks! If i said that at my work i would be sent packing the same day. The dirty rat has no place in English football no matter how good he is with his feet. Do us all a favour Suarez and foook off !! Quote

As Kent White alluded to - blown out of all proportion. Have you nowt else to get excited about? Change of leader in North Korea for instance? Quote
HomerJay Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Blown out of proportion? Really? Have you seen the dialogue between the two bolty? 8 games is a very lenient sentence IMO Quote
MickyD Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 (edited) Certainly lenient seeing as most on here would be out of work for the same. Edited January 1, 2012 by MickyD Quote
Rembrandt Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 ,if your a big enough man to dish it out then you should be big enough to accept the consequences Since when was anything Liverpool big enough to accept the consequences of what they dish out ? I remember the Liverpool defence of the big Ron Yeats days. They dished out some physical stuff but whinged to the ref whenever an opponent got a bit tough back. Nothing changes. Quote
bolty58 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Blown out of proportion? Really? Have you seen the dialogue between the two bolty? 8 games is a very lenient sentence IMO Amazing how times have changed. Remind me of how long that horrible twat Keane got for ending Inge Haalands career with that blatant assault? 3 games and 5,000 quid was it? Now blokes on here are calling for Suarez's career to be ended for verbal insults? It's a mad world. Quote
bolty58 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Amazing and also, positive. A matter of opinion. Some things positive, others not so. Quote
Spider Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I fucking hate Liverpool fc and all it stands for Boot room, fuck off Flags, fuck off Shankly gates, fuck off The whole sense of history and fawning tv pundits, fuck off Just fuck off Quote

no balls Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 A matter of opinion. Some things positive, others not so. So booting out racism isn't a positive? Fair enough. Quote
MickyD Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Just a point P, I'm not asking for mim to get a ban sine die, I am pointing out that here and now, in the 21st century, I, and many others on this board, would be out looking for alternative employment. Quote
dingdangdo Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 What ever happened to the maxim "what's said on the pitch stays on the pitch"? Surely what's said on the pitch is a private not a public matter? Players say things on the pitch they that they don?t really mean. I play football and mouth the most outrageous things at fellow players and opponents and I don't mean a bit of it....anyone who has played the game knows this to be true. Whatever insults are traded during a game, players are expected to shake hands and leave animosities when the match is over. Yes, you need a thick skin, but the rules of engagement are fairly clear. If this nonsense carries on we'll have more codes of conduct, player surveillance and lilly livered players running to the press at the first opportunity....football is the loser in that game. If Evra was offended by the comment her should have had the balls to confront Suarez directly and keep the authorities out of it. That's the way to tackle racism if you ask me. And as for that twat QPR fan who snitched John Terry - disgraceful! Quote
SpiritofBurnden Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Players say things on the pitch they that they don?t really mean. That's a piss poor excuse. Quote

And as for that twat QPR fan who snitched John Terry - disgraceful! You can't have it both ways. We've had, as have other clubs, red cards rescinded due to the million and three different viewing angles. That's all good news compared with the days of only seeing cameras at the ground if you were on MotD. The players know full well that they're there too so ought to be disciplined enough to behave accordingly. If they don't; a cheeky elbow on the ref's blind side, etc. it will be seen and pontificated over by a myriad of pundits and the FA will do something about it retrospectively. That Suarez decided he was above the law of the land whilst stood on the pitch is not a defence. If he goes in too aggressively he could face the law of the land for that too. Ask players who have been done for GBH. THEY ARE NOT BEYOND THE LAW JUST BECAUSE THEY STAND ON A FOOTBALL PITCH FOR MILLIONS OF POUNDS PER YEAR. Quote
bolty58 Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 So booting out racism isn't a positive? Fair enough. You are drawing a very long bow, sweetie. Point out exactly where I said that? This is a storm of protest over words said between two men on a football pitch FFS. In my view, massively overblown. That's all. Maybe it's an age thing but I have some sympathy with dingdangdo's latest post. I have had allsorts of stuff said to me trying to wind me up on the football pitch and it's all forgotten after the game. Blatter said something similar and I really dislike him but he has a point. Blown out of all proportion IMO and I go back to the parallel I drew between the Keane/Haaland incident and the Suarez/Evra one. Did the latter really deserve a fine 10 times the career ending incident and close to 3 times the length of ban? No doubt the younger end in their zeal to be seen as whiter than white (can we use this phrase now?) will answer with an emphatic 'yes' and howl for a lifetime ban. I just don't see it. Micky - I agree that you should be fired if you said those things at Welliphant HQ. Comparing our everyday jobs to a high temperature sporting contest isn't a valid comparison im my view. We have all got hot and bothered playing sport and said/done things we later regret. Quote
no balls Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 You are drawing a very long bow, sweetie. Point out exactly where I said that? If in doubt, throw in a patronising name, cheers. You didn't exactly as you well know, but to reply to my comment about the change being positive in the way you did was a very odd thing to say. Very odd indeed. I'm not sure how obnoxious he had to be to blow it into proportion. Quote
