I reckon the players will be bang up for it now they know Fab is talking again and will want to give him a win to smile about while he is on the road to recovery. Bloody well hope so- if they can't get up for this, then they shouldn't be playing the game. Feel ashamed to admit it though, but I just can't see a decent performance/positive result. Recent games after sad events haven't filled me with confidence.

After all, Blackburn have said that they're willing to postpone. because that'd be 2 games postponed and he's on the mend now, so no need to wallow in self pity, surely better to play Blackburn on Sat, rather than sandwiched midweek between 2 other big games who knows, maybe it would be better to not have the first game since the incident be on the same ground in the first place, could be pychological, who knows however, the players have said they want to play, his family has said they want us to play, most of the fans want us to play, seems you don't, it's clear he's improving day by day and Blackburn made that gesture when he was still not concious, so what reason do we really have to not play Blackburn on sat - other than manipulating the incident to try and make our run in a bit easier, i.e. not playing the "big" game next just get on with it and stop wallowing, that's my reasoning

March 22, 201214 yr My lad is doing that Junior Whites Frontline thing on Saturday - booked it months ago as the wife is a Blackburn fan (I know, I know) and his grandparents are down from Orkney so they are coming to the game too. I booked it hoping the experience of being on the pitch and around the players will get him more enthusiastic for going watching the Wanderers (he loves playing football but not really into watching it for some reason!) I think the atmosphere will be fantastic so am hopeful it will have the desired effect and we will start going on a regular basis.
