Horrobin Lane still flooded, passable in 4x4, couple of piles of debris in the road near the bottom barn and near the green. Very busy near the overflow up from the Yew Tree and the roads still flooded right round to the quarry but passable. Would have liked to have had a mooch up Leadmine but ran out of time. Rivi Club open as usual from the smell of bacon butties. Quote

My Bull dog Lucky is lay down outside she refuses to come in Positively Tropical in Walkden , the fence panels look like the things are on fire , the steam coming of them. Not twenty fours ago ,Floods and rain of Biblical proportions, you'd swear it was summer in my back garden , could sit out with shorts and t shirt today sipping the Pims...
