December 13, 201510 yr This is generally why I always select a company car rather than the allowance. I've done 29 years with company cars and for the first time this year had the option of an allowance. Finance said go for it but couldn't make the move in my head. Drove thru the floods in Cumbria last weekend and was up inNewcastle today and drove across the A66 to Penrith in shit snow and fog. I'd have been cacking myself in my own car.
