Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

£80?

a month?

Well £76 actually becsuse we claimed for joist repairs, new flooring etc after we got flooded last year.

Apparently we are now in a high risk area even though the last time the area suffered the same level of flooding was in 1967 when a dead sheep blocked the drain.

The flood in the area last year was caused by a combination of unprecedented rainfall, an unmaintained drainage dyke and estuary to the river wyre on land that belongs to network rail. That particular rail track was closed in 1971 and they gave permission to some rail geeks to try and restore it a few years ago. The gimps come down the road and paint bits of fence every Saturday and read train books the fuckin weirdos. This obviously didn’t entail clearing the fucking drains around it. That along with unswept street grids caused the food.

so now we have nice new flooring but are paying about £40 a month for it.

If the wife asked me to put th'eatin on I might do, and she usually knows to only ask from October,  cold toneet

then again, I am sat here in shorts and a t-shirt, it's been a good summer

A few more until we have equal days and nights

Just managed to cut the very moist grass

Prob need to do it again next time we get a couple of dry days

BBC didn’t mention any rain

Aye, pleasantly surprised by the dryness of the next few days.

Been a superb summer. Only tainted by a mediocre August and wank September.

just got a feeling in my waters we are gonna pay for it. Storms and high winds en route i reckon. The squirrels in my garden are frantic and there’s a load of shit going down around japan along with a high sea temp that’s going to fuck us.

Lovely day today. Sun still warm. Even a hail shower didn't spoil it.

I have seen small flocks of geese arrowing along over the past couple of weeks though.
