been feeding red deer up in Galloway forest this morning and then saw 2 wheelie bins being blown across the a75. Lovely day apart from the wind.

A mate down in wales has put on Facebook that people are genuinely at risk of dying down there. Seems pretty bad.

Meanwhile, Bolton basks in bright sunshine and blue skies. A bit windy but sunny as hell.

Indeed. Red weather warning in South Wales and the police have called it a major incident.

Last time I was in Stranraer, we saw a couple of zombies lurking in an amusement arcade. Quickly popped in the shop for some bread etc, paid another zombie and fucked off back to the campsite pronto.

A decrepit, tumbleweed of a place housing the living dead.

We missed our ferry by about 10 minutes

It was about 6 hoyrs til the next one

But, like i said, new england bay (port logan/drummore) is beautiful

Also, makes little sense, but ive a feeling i got dragged to some tropical garden in that area, too

Yep. Has a lot of species you wouldn't expect to find so far North, but benefits from warmer air from the warm(ish) current.

Iirc, my folks had pictures of us as kids under a giant specimen of gunnera manicata.

I planted one near my pond- it lasted a season and then gave up the ghost!

Bovington, yeovilton and beaulieu were ok

I could spend all day in an aircraft museum or similar. Theme parks, eg Alton towers, well you can keep them. Rather go fishing with no bait!
