Fairly certain no one is arsed, but we're still buzzing so I'm telling you all anyway.  We got incredibly lucky, thankfully! Weather was spot on and it properly set the tone for a perfect day, co

Seem to have a bit of a lull at the moment here.

Calm as fuck this morning, nearly got blew off my feet walking home tonight, and then suddenly stopped.

My little house is feeling the brunt of it now, bring it on.

12 mph winds overnight here. Looks like rain aside we’ve missed it thankfully

Not much yet in Bolton. A few gusty spells last night but I've not had to pick bins up yet.

It’s a bit windy.

Tge media don’t half exaggerate

Next door’s fence has taken a tumble, and our outside table lamp has blown over. Dangerous times here in south London.

Carnage at Manchester airport

just watched as 8 planes in a row have aborted landings.

great telly.

Suns out here now. Tad breezy but nice enough morning

It’s raining sideways

Bit of a nasty squall line just now

Should be over the worst of it in the NW (famous last words)

We were out with the hounds down Leverhulme. Slightly in a dip and relatively calm.

Went to shop on Bury road, and it was howling. Definitely picked up since, and we're not suffering as bad as coastal areas.

Other places had 4 inches of rain in short period of time, and there were small rivers of in the park, and apparently, the river has overtopped a bit in longsight park and the arboretum has got an island.

I reckon the media have got it right this time.

Was bloody awful earlier, got soaked walking from the car to the door. Plenty of flooded roads about but looks like we got off better than other areas.

Those WW2 air raid sirens going off over Traf's way are so eerie.

Aye, Bacup & Todmorden under quite a bit of water.

It's bad in London, therefore it is newsworthy.

Cracking flags here.

Sunny in Harwood but a bit blowy still.

Blue sky now, but still windy. Still chance of heavy showers though.

Much worse to the west, towards Gonzo. Emergency tree team out.

Looks like a canal, hope you've got everything sealed and secured.

Seen a full size tree collapsed through someone's house a few roads away from me earlier on I've not seen anything like that in person before it looked brutal.

I'm a mile and a half up hill from there, so we're all fine.
