Yes, your buildings insurance policy should cover lightning damage to the structure of your home. Most home insurers should cover for damages due to natural disasters that are out of our control, like lightning. These are sometimes called 'Acts of God'. Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted July 9, 2023 Posted July 9, 2023 Cunt's trick not automatically insuring against stuff like that. If folk want to opt out to reduce costs, give that as an option. Quote

I used to love playing out in summer thunder storms. Getting pissed wet through in shorts and Tshirt and coming home to a bollocking off my mum thinking we'd die of being struck by lightning. Quote

Hard to say, but there’s definitely something not right with how hot things are getting year on year. Some say there’s no climate change, but it’s plainly wrong. Quote

We all enjoy it abroad because we don't have to work and can wear shorts. Shut the fuck up and have a solero Quote

I suppose storms will be as a consequence of that, though they can be hit and miss in any one place, so would need to look at the nation as a whole. Quote

Not far away in Breightmet is a small holding producing a fair weight of grapes. What is happening generally though, is that they are now starting to produce a high enough amount of sugar, which is why English vineyards are now producing such high quality whites. Still have good acidity, but adequate sugar for fermentation. Quote
