They often do, but so far this has gone pretty much due North. If it carries on in the same fashion, but gets pushed a touch West by the Pennines, then we could be in luck. It's a fair old system with many a strike. To be honest, more hoping for rain. Running out of grass to cut. Quote
Tonge moor green jacket Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 Scousers have had a couple of strikes to, but then again, they're used to that. Quote
FrancisFogarty Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 Bugger all in GL except some rumblings of thunder. it’s a swizz. Quote

MickyD Posted June 11, 2023 Posted June 11, 2023 I was at the local cricket club. Game had finished and it started thundering. Then a bit of rain but not even enough to join up the spots of water as they fell onto the ground. The grounds man was bitterly disappointed. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Loving it. Been for a swim each evening at 9pm which cools you down for your kip. Gym in the morning, lunch outside. What's not to like? Seems a bit cooler today as well. Quote

Sweep Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 my little thermometer in my office says it's 27.2C at the minute, and I'm at the front of the house, which is north facing. It is getting more and more humid by the minute, so I'm expecting some rain later, hopefully Quote
Not in Crawley Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 Just had a little burst of heavy rain. The smell afterwards the most summer thing ever. Bliss. Quote
