Youri McAnespie Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 It's a pity he's not a Geordie, then he could have a big sign (also welcoming visitors to Bolton) proclaiming: Look! WayneWalker's Galaxy Fair Fayre Howay! Quote
Traf Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 was it really a world of fashion? It was to the inhabitants of Breightmet. Quote
Traf Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 And how long before he's known as Wayne Wanker? Quote

I went in once - it was like Tony Montana's mansion...As for the meat place, fair play to the bloke but is a pile it high, sell it cheap meat emporium the best way to herald the new transport hub? Traf Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Is it the glass building facing what used to be Ride n Drive? Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 It's the former Comet...The old asian pictures to older posters, on the corner, mirrored rather than glass if one's being pedantic (ok, so mirror is glass, if one's being ultra-pedantic). Quote
Carlos Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I see he's pitching up inthe old "World of Fashion" store - I never once went in said establishment, was it really a world of fashion? They had a load of snide Burb, but also some current Armani stuff at decent prices. Must have been seconds or something. The mirrors on the corner are of course Bolton's answer to Dallas. Good luck to the bloke anyway. Quote

no balls Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Every credit to it does a roaring trade. Personally, I don't think I'll be partaking in any of Wayne meat though. Quote
Carlos Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 I'll still be getting mine from The Castle meat raffle. Quote
Youri McAnespie Posted November 20, 2012 Author Posted November 20, 2012 Sometimes I look at those 'Farmfoods' pamphlets you get through the door (before burning it then disinfecting my hands) - I'm baffled by the prices, it may be perfectly good stuff and I may be a food snob, but £3.95 for a kilo of chicken breast? Hmmm...something not quite right with that (I presume they can only have 10% or so of the weight as 'moisture'). Quote
Carlos Posted November 20, 2012 Posted November 20, 2012 Supermarket chicken is entirely different to stuff strraight from the farm. Quote
