That simply isnt true. Voice your opinion all you want, but If you sit there and boo players like your a child at a pantomime when its 0-0 halfway through a match, you won't be labeled a knobhead, y

  • Could someone please describe to me what a shit flick on is? a flick on is a flick on, if we punt the ball up and Davies flicks it on, he has done his job. the fact we can't get numbers up to support

Why were folk booing when Sordell was subbed?   I thought it was because they thought it was the wrong decision,   Someone near me thought they were booing Sordell because he had been shit.   Ei

absolute bollocks....

that fucker and his team need to be told when the performances are shambolic like the first 45...

otherwise that moonman will continue to think he's doing a great job...

the man who sits there and thinks it will be alright in the end is the knobjockey ..

I honestly don't know if thats a serious post or not.

I fear he's serious.

Bobcat - do you believe the booing you did actually made a difference?

Out of interest, if booing is frowned upon, what would be the acceptable medium to express complete disappointment?

Or is this a half time v full time thing where it's okay at full time but not okay half way through a game when we are drawing?

A lot of people saying that theres going to be periods of the games where we don't play well etc, and thats fair enough and I accept that.

For me though these periods should be due to us being put under pressure from the opposition attacking us and us being pushed back, whereas last night we were terrible for the 1st half because we had no common sense, either on or off the pitch, to try something different.

Every time the ball got hoofed from the back, the Derby defence knew what was going to happen, their big centre mid dropped onto Davies, who in fairness did win a fair few of them, but that meant that the entire Derby back 4 had dropped off Davies which caused it to be 4 on 1 to pick up the flick on.

Derby were quite happy to see this happen time and time again, they knew what was going to happen as soon as the ball was with our defence/keeper and so set up before the ball was even played, it was SO predictable.

All it needed was somebody on the pitch or heaven forbid our manager to realise what was happening and tell our full backs to drop short and pick up the ball, then tell M.Davies who is very comfortable on the ball to drop into the space between the midfield and the defence and take the ball and build an attack. Straight away Derby would be unsettled and we would be able to bring in our better players on the wings.

Like I said I know there will be times where we won't play brilliantly and we will be under the cosh, but when it's so plain to see what the problem is and how easily we could change tactics to take the opposition apart it just further confirms to me that the manager and backroom staff are just as useless as I thought.

Chucking your underpants onto the pitch as the players walk off at half time

My personal take is, whilst I don't do it myself, I have no issue with folk doing it at full time. At half time, especially when the scores are still level is a tad pathetic.

I reckon, in the majority, it's a nouveau fan thing. You see/hear it up and down the country regularly now.

Never came on here after Burnley. Despite the shambolic last 75 mins of the game I had had a good day on the piss!

Yesterday's performance didn't inspire me a great deal, it was a very nervy, unconvincing display, which still poses for me a lot of unanswered questions.

However most importantly we got a win and a clean sheet while not playing too well, we now have to build on this and hope confidence and application levels have been raised, they need to learn quickly how to play in this league and hopefully yesterday was the first step.

For those who had any illusions that we would walk this league and it was a given we would get automatic promotion now need to rein in these unrealistic expectations. These expectations need to be kept in check especially when you consider our best defender in these last 2 games has been Zat Knight!

That's a bit harsh on the players!

Poor undies.

I like the fella

Think theres a time and place for booing, last night was neither, 1 game into a new season, yep things are not great at the moment but the players need our support now more than ever, despite what we think of coyle/gartside/team.

I fear he's serious.

course I'm serious....

do you think I'm going to accept something as satisfactory as the majority of that game last night?

remember apathy and tolerance of that prick has got us where we are...

people say we have got to go up at the first opportunity or we are fucked and that included Oliver hardy lastnight in his interview ...

do you think its acceptable for people to continually underperform at not to be told...would you accept from a work colleague?...would you balls...

just because its your beloved bwfc makes no difference ....

many fans seem to forget that there are actually two teams on the pitch.

not many teams can steamroll a team for 90 min.

ive always said it but as long as we score more goals than the opposition, im a happy fan.

i do not give a flying fuck how that happens.

Okay, if you want to compare a football match with me being at work, let's say I had a month to get a project done and two weeks into it I was either slacking a bit or struggling. Surely as long as it's done, and done well by the deadline then that would be acceptable wouldn't it?

... or would that not be good enough and you'd be leaning over my shoulder booing for the first two weeks to motivate me?

I hope you don't have staff.

If you're on a building site you might take notice of your gaffer, or a structural engineer.

You might take less notice if some bloke staggering back from an all-dayer tells you you're doing it wrong.

Or an architect.

The first half was shocking, i think the people booing were just annoyed that we just hoofed the ball for 45 mins without even trying to vary our play. coyle keeps talking about the great midfielders we have got but playing that type of football and to just 1 mans strength (KD) then were are completely taking out the strengths of our midfielders who i believe if we tried to pass the ball more would rip teams apart. i know we cant always get the ball down and play and sometimes a lump forward if we are under pressure at the back is needed but that first half last night we didn't even attempt to pass the ball. The second half was better and hopefully we can take some confidence from the second half performance into the forest game on friday.

The hoof ball up to KD in the first half was embarrassing. Why do we play to his strengths when our strength lies in the midfield and more importantly our fast as fook wingers. If had attempted some football last night we would have tore them apart as they were total shite. Felt sorry for Mavies cause the ball was just by passing our midfield. The fact we still playing this way suggests that Coyle does not have a clue. We have enough quality to tear this divison apart but wont set them up right. Having two right footed played down our left hand side was a fookin joke as well. They were all poor against Burnley but he drops our two most consistent players from last year in a league higher (Petrov and Ream). Mears was utter shit on sat and last night, but he'll be in on fri. Coyle has his favourites and could cost BWFC. The two goals papered over the cracks. Everyone keeps saying how difficult this divison is, the two teams i've seen have been shite! He need to wake up and fast. If we play though our midfield we will piss promotion.

Hallifookinlluia

Folk should remember that last night was only Mears' third game in 16 months.

He could be forgiven for being a bit off the pace.

He was much better last night than he was on Saturday.

last night was about getting the win nothing else mattered. as soon as we had scored you could feel and see a weight lift from there shoulders, Bogan was celebrating like the goal had just won us the league. once we had scored we look acomplished on the ball and saw a glimpse of what could be this season.

i hope we will see more of the football we played in the last 25 minutes for the rest of the season, we looked like a half decent team.

perfect opprtunity, first home game since relegation and a shit perforance, the manager, team and board needed to know how fuckin pathetic it has got

you do know the full time score don't you?

from on the 14th at breightmet?

i fcuking doubt it

0-0

Lots of us saw that KD was winning Lots of headers in the first half that went to Derby players. This changed in the 2nd half which is progress. I wonder if OC brought this to their attention at half time? I also wonder why no one was linking up in the first half anyway, cause that was a predetermined order. We weren't playing it out from the back at all in the first half at all?
