August 22, 201213 yr Lots of us saw that KD was winning Lots of headers in the first half that went to Derby players. This changed in the 2nd half which is progress. I wonder if OC brought this to their attention at half time? I also wonder why no one was linking up in the first half anyway, cause that was a predetermined order. We weren't playing it out from the back at all in the first half at all?
August 22, 201213 yr No hes still Waiting for it on SSN couldnt believe that, even went to league 1 before us
August 22, 201213 yr Okay, if you want to compare a football match with me being at work, let's say I had a month to get a project done and two weeks into it I was either slacking a bit or struggling. Surely as long as it's done, and done well by the deadline then that would be acceptable wouldn't it? ... or would that not be good enough and you'd be leaning over my shoulder booing for the first two weeks to motivate me? I hope you don't have staff. But then if he worked as an actor or comedian or any other kind of performer, he'd get more than booing for a sloppy boring first half of his work.
August 22, 201213 yr I almost had a begrudging respect for him due to the quality and volume of his booing. He really put some effort into that. Ah, well. The booing behind us was that almost apologetic 'other people are booing so I might as well'. Not very loud, a bit gay, and tapered off when me and my brother looked round. A pretty half-hearted attempt really.
August 22, 201213 yr But then if he worked as an actor or comedian or any other kind of performer, he'd get more than booing for a sloppy boring first half of his work. .,.. and that begs the ultimate question in football. What is most important? Entertainment or results? Personally, and this season more than ever, it has to be results each and every time. Booing them at half time can only be counter-productive in my opinion.
August 22, 201213 yr On the booing issue, at away matches, it's great when the home fans boo their own team. I never think that it's going to do anything to inspire them but when you get a partisan home crowd, I always fear the worst.

Always been about results for me, I had enough entertainment under Colin Todd to last me a life time
August 22, 201213 yr I cant understand how people expect us to be flying after just 2 games into the season either. Weve got a couple of players coming back off long term injuries and one or two new ones as well. They will get better if people give them chance.

August 22, 201213 yr When we were in the BPL we tried to pass it around some of the best passing sides in europe. I will give you Arsenal but who are the others?
August 22, 201213 yr There is an irony when people say they feel they can boo the team when they are not giving 100% when posting the next day at work
August 22, 201213 yr cos we are a premier league squad maybe But we are not, if we were we would still be playing in the Prem League
August 22, 201213 yr But we are not, if we were we would still be playing in the Prem League Exactly. The "Premier League" squad that wasn't good enough for the EPL. Is now going through a transistional period and along with returning injured players and a sprinkling of new lads getting used to a totally different league. Will take us a few matches to gt it right and we may slip up a few times over the coming weeks, but ultimately I think we'll be reet. PS. Boooooooooo Edited August 22, 201213 yr by Ratwhite

August 22, 201213 yr But we are not, if we were we would still be playing in the Prem League again bollocks ... it was mismanaged
August 22, 201213 yr The booing was really just the club reaping what it sowed last year. The crowd were supportive last season in that respect - maybe even too supportive. In the close season the awful truth dawned on people that we had indeed thrown the Prem away, and this was their first chance to vent their anger at that fact. Amazed how few Derby fans were there - after all, as I well know it's just a quick hike along th'A50 and up the M6. Maybe, unlike me, they realised that the A50 was going to be closed on the way back and they didn't fancy the diversion up through the hills via God knows where that I had to endure . Is it possible to drive any appreciable distance in this fucking country without getting held up? They should add an extra line to your car tax form - "this allows you to drive car reg xxx for the next 12 months. But frankly I wouldn't fuckin bother". Cunts
August 22, 201213 yr cos we are a premier league squad maybe If we had still been in the bpl then last night we would have lost 2-0, there were times in the second half when we were getting pegged back, a better side than derby would have punnished us. but we dug in and rode our luck. we don'nt have enough quality for the bpl, thats why we are where we are. but if derby are the yardstick for this league and we can find a decent defensive midfielder i'm quitely confident.
August 22, 201213 yr .,.. and that begs the ultimate question in football. What is most important? Entertainment or results? well, I am sure you will find plenty who wanted entertainment when fat sam was taking us up the leagues with his brand of football remember clearly folk saying they'd take the odd 3-4 defeat over a 1-0 scrap (and probably folk said the same under Megson) there were no complaints when Coyle had us doing well and now he's trying to continue his brand under a dire run of results and performances to match, so we want results so in answer to your question we want whichever we are not getting, but are happy with both
