September 5, 201213 yr I live in Sheffield so I cant wait for this one For those coming over on the train there is a decent newish pub at the train station called the Sheffield Tap. Its a real ale pub and has a big selection of continantal lagers or alternatively just out the station there is an its a scream called the Globe which is pretty cheap as a first stop. Id recommend making your way onto Division Street or West Street for most of the best places to drink. New Barrack Tavern is also decent for real ales and is one of the closest away friendly pubs near the ground just off Penistone Road. Just hope the game doesnt ruin the day!!
September 5, 201213 yr Scenic train ride over (but don't get the stop everywhere train, it takes fcuking hours !! ), a nice place Sheffield, even a ride on a tram & then maybe some heavy drinking. Iamin I might give the match a miss though.
September 5, 201213 yr Severely tempted by this one. Last trip there we won 3-0 I think. (Ricketts, Gardner and Marshall iirc?) Went with a Sheff Weds fan from work and he really should've beaten me to death with my repetitious "Can we play you every week?" song all the way home.

Whitt JS is confirmed, you sort it out with the two old gossips. I'll sort buying the match tickets if one of you fucksticks sorts out the train tickets. Deal?

September 5, 201213 yr Marple to Sheffield direct !! I am in + junior + gumbo + boltimore. Hope its better than the 5-0 down at half time when Di Canio ripped us to bits tho..........
September 5, 201213 yr deal pal what about that abbot should i ask him ? Aye, the little cunt can give me back my coat from V.
September 5, 201213 yr train times 10.13-1135 11.13-12.35 11.35-13.08 12.13-13.35 12.35-14.08 I'm liking the look of the 10.13 one. 11.13 latest.
September 5, 201213 yr Train tickets for us return from Manc Picc cost us £7.25. Cant complain about that
September 5, 201213 yr Cracking night out, and you can wear trainers. last time I went after the 2-2, ended up in the leadmill even though it had been about 10 years since I last went in before that, it wasn't the same as it used to be might have been the lack of smoke and smell of sick still, I will be looking to convince myself a stop over is required

If its anything like the Euston Tap it will be decent! Really like it in there. Im on this, train job
September 5, 201213 yr Highlight of the season for me. Staying over at mates who are still at uni and doing the friday and saturday nights with the added benefit of freshers! Anyone undecided on whether to stay over i'd say do it. Get yourself down west street/division street any of the nights that week and there will be some great sights to see! Already accepted that the football will be shite but ah well.
September 5, 201213 yr Any idea on how much it is on the day mate? Not sure, cant see it going up by much though
