Kevin Davies is still a great leader and player, but his effectiveness is on the wane now that the managers in his division are figuring out how to stop him. At best he is now our "impact player" to be used when hopefully the new striker (s) in January have had to much or we need to grab the late goal.

 

Same thing happened with other great servants like Super John, it's a sad fact of life.

 

So lets not tip the baby out with the bath water, dougies job is now how to use him properly.

The longer we went without scoring the more we looked like conceding. Andrews and Spearing were dominated in midfield from 10th minute. Davies and NGog just dont seem to work together and rarely combine.

Why after only having won 1 of the last 6 games do we change a winning team that played well at Blackburn.

2 up? I was dissappointed not to have been at least 3 or 4 up by half time. The longer te game went on though, the less likely we were to get the second and the more likely they were to get an equaliser.

The one chance he had. Not the offside one coz that was offside. Look Casino, Davies is not the only one who misses chances.
