snowball Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 No other striker gets / will get the same crack of the whip as he does / has done. Plays pretty much week in, week out., regardless of form. Given as many games in the team, Ngog would eventually score goals. No he wouldn't. Quote
roybarker Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 totally agree with snowball-most sensible comment on here Quote
L/H Lad Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Why the fook did he change the team from blackburn. And he made the wrong subs. Another clueless stuburn jock ? Quote
HomerJay Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 totally agree with snowball-most sensible comment on here Just coz he agrees with you? Ok Quote
hughmungus Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Kevin Davies is still a great leader and player, but his effectiveness is on the wane now that the managers in his division are figuring out how to stop him. At best he is now our "impact player" to be used when hopefully the new striker (s) in January have had to much or we need to grab the late goal. Same thing happened with other great servants like Super John, it's a sad fact of life. So lets not tip the baby out with the bath water, dougies job is now how to use him properly. Quote
superjohnmcginlay Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Just coz he agrees with you? Ok I agree with Homer Quote
Mona Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Alonso up front. End of! That reminds of the nick hunt song Nick hunt should play up from, coz he's useless as a fullback Ha ha Quote
Bobcat Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 we will never progress with Kevin touch of a rapist slow as a cart horse Davies leading the line... Quote
superkev Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 (edited) what's Sordell done wrong? Apart from looking pretty shit on the few occasions we have seen him. Absolutely nothing. The fact that he has not played under 3 managers apart from the homesickness lark suggests to me he is wank. Will gladly like to be proven wrong. Edited December 1, 2012 by superkev Quote
snowball Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 did davies not miss a great chance at 1 up then? Yes and 2 others as Agreed. At least he was in the right place to test the keeper. What did N'gog do? Did he ever look like scoring? He was put through and a proper striker would at least have got a shot off but no he tried to take an extra touch and the chance was gone. My point is that N'gog was terrible today, he was on his arse half the game, nothing stuck to him, he contibuted nothing. Davies put a shift in and did a lot of good stuff but that Gets ignored by the usual suspects on here. By all means lets move away from Davies, but to what with current options? Quote
HomerJay Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Ngog worked every bit as hard as Davies But that should be a given. Quote
HR Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 The longer we went without scoring the more we looked like conceding. Andrews and Spearing were dominated in midfield from 10th minute. Davies and NGog just dont seem to work together and rarely combine. For me, Spearing was our worst player today. Ipswich were utter dogwank. Quote
bulldog Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 Just got back in so what I say may have have gone before but I want to have a rant. What a load of absolute fucking shit that was today. Why after only having won 1 of the last 6 games do we change a winning team that played well at Blackburn. I knew it would not be easy but Ipswich were shit and should have been beaten. I am getting really fucked off watching shit players like Mears wear a Bolton shirt. How much are shit cunts like him earning he is pinching a living. Want to give Dougie a chance but I am disappointed at his changes & subs today. Hoping for much better next week & no Mears he is fucking useless. Quote
gonzo Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 M.Davies scores amazing goals. M.Davies vanishes for 70% of every game. Quote
HomerJay Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 (edited) He had more touches than any other player today I reckon And he is certainly looking to pass the ball forward a lot more than under coyle Edited December 1, 2012 by HomerJay Quote
Ani Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 M.Davies vanishes for 70% of every game. M.Davies is wasted playing wide left . C.Eagles is wasted playing wide right. Quote
snowball Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 we will never progress with Kevin touch of a rapist slow as a cart horse Davies leading the line... Were you saying that after Weds night? Bigger problems with that team today than KD. Goalkeeper, defence, midfield and other striking options spring to mind but fuck it let's drop Davies now. The lionhearted goal machine N'gog will lead the line , terrify the opposition and up the league we will go. Just to be clear, I do think KD is on the way out but until we have better options I am not going to slag him off when there are plenty more deserving at the moment Quote
Casino Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 M.Davies is wasted playing wide left . C.Eagles is wasted playing wide right. i'll give you one, fred Quote

MickyD Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 2 up? I was dissappointed not to have been at least 3 or 4 up by half time. The longer te game went on though, the less likely we were to get the second and the more likely they were to get an equaliser. Gutted about the spill by Bogdan. He was good for all prior to that except the penalty. Quote
snowball Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 lets get it reet should we have gone 2 up? waffle all you like, but then answer the question Yes but N'gog with the touch of a rapist (to borrow a phrase) fucked it up Quote
snowball Posted December 1, 2012 Posted December 1, 2012 which one did he miss? The one chance he had. Not the offside one coz that was offside. Look Casino, Davies is not the only one who misses chances. Today I think Davies was one of our better, more effective players yet he gets called shit. I think that's unfair that's all I'm trying to say. That and how on today's evidence how can anyone think N'gog is the answer. Quote
