marple whites Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Positives were Dawson, pratley, chippy, also so, de rider, ngog and Craig David Negatives were bogdan, mears, eagles, sordell Don't agree with the booing, but was it perhaps that eagles should have been the first one off ? I thought sordell was right to be subbed, but de ridder had done alright. Good job we won though, with a few bottom teams winning. Just shows that the quality in this division is poor, when you consider the results today and how a team just outside the playoffs performed. Onwards and upwards, forest have lost the last 3 ! Quote
superkev Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Got a big bruise on my arm from people jumping over me when we got the equaliser. I also think its hilarious when grown men run towards the away fans for a scrap knowing full well they can't get near them. Quote
Estupendo Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 I think we should all boo because if we don't then how can we possibly undermine things thereby getting things to change! Hmmmm Quote

Or just the sheer excitement of bagging a late winner that shuts up the gobby inbred cnuts up? Looked good from the West Lower! Quote
radcliffe white Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Was saying weeks ago we can do playoffs and i will stick by it.we just need 3 or 4 wins in a row like blackburn have done this league is fucked up big time Quote

onlyoneawalker Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Not to take away from today's performance but I'd like to see eagles for de ridder wide mark davies playing behind Craig davies up top and Holden and vela in the middle of the park with wheater Dawson at centre half before the seasons out could really wet the appetite for next season that'd do for me Quote
smithills_gent Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Spot on Jules. I watched the Watfor- Palace game last night and listened to the Palace fans cause a right raucos even at 2 down, not a boo or chant in earshot. Like I said on the DF thread,he must have known what he was doing leaving that kind of support and backing, and fuck me I bet he misses it. If he gets his payslips out from Palace and then looks at his Bolton ones, he'll remember why he moved to a more demanding crowd. Quote
itdiddidit? Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 ended up in es upper today due to the ticket office computers fucking up, i definitely blame the ticket office this time. computer said no and crashed. we got in at 3.40 at 20 notes each. no discount for it being half time or even a receipt or a ticket stub, robbing cash in hand twat. couldn't find my season ticket today and ended up having to go through that bollocks. they eventually put on a cash turnstile and e stand upper was the only stand on offer. apolgoies to the rest of es upper we won't be returning. the three blokes shouting and encouraging the whites were football fans, proper daggers from the rest of the stand. as long as i live ive been going to football ive never been in a stand like that. been to livelier wakes. as for the football, what a relief 3 points, think we may win the league now. freedman out/ticket office is wank/eagles is a homo etc. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 If he gets his payslips out from Palace and then looks at his Bolton ones, he'll remember why he moved to a more demanding crowd. Freedman also has to earn the trust of the fans after the Coyle years and it will take time. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Bloody hell that felt good when the 2nd went in. Not celebrated like that since twatting my shin when we equalised 2-2 with Blackpool. Something about burnley fans, I share their hatred of Blackburn but fuck me they can really get under your skin. Coywm Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Yeah Dawson would have had an hat trick if he could head it. Apart from that, not a lot. MOM. Quote

You were like a wild animal for about 5 mins after Quote
DaisyHWanderer Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Not the best performance but we got the win. Plenty running towards them when we scored, plenty coins and lighters being thrown too. Seen some bolton tryna kick off with a minibus near mcdonalds, think it was just scarfers though. Quote

athywhite1958 Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 A mini bus from Athy was set upon by Burnley fans, one window smashed, Athy lads got off and 'made amends' Quote

Our away support has been brilliant this year as you probably know mate, Dougie will. Appreciate it. HomerJay Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 Is it football fans in general changing then? because is 22 years, I don't recall fans ever being so impatient Quote
tomski Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 (edited) Is it football fans in general changing then? because is 22 years, I don't recall fans ever being so impatient It's a boring subject but while its trendy to like football you will always have your impatient fans on the flip side our crowd probably doubles. I don't know. What the answer is. In my head its less is best. Edited February 9, 2013 by tomski Quote
Casino Posted February 9, 2013 Posted February 9, 2013 i think our fans think they have some influence they forced gartsides hand with megson and they think they can do it again who wouldn't swap what we've got now for winning our game in hand to be 4th from bottom of the prem? Quote
