Kevin Davies

Linked with sheff wed according to the Ben. I'd be suprised if he's allowed to go before end of the season?

BWFC are a multi million pound business and SKD has earnt himself Millions of pounds at the club   And folk are moaning about him being told on his birthday   Fucking seriously??   Who gives a s

  • Jesus christ, I don't know where to start with some of the shit in this thread but this seems as good as any.   You seem to have described the modern day 'SKD' when trying to describe Craig Davies.

  • I'll remember him for being a legend. I hope everyone else does.

as a professional footballer,i wouldn't like to be put on for a last minute cameo out of sentiment. i'd rather go gracefully and not let my missus spout shite either

SKD has been an invaluable servant to the Whites, but no-one is bigger than our club.

We've moved on and I wish you all the best in your next move

Last paragraph is spot on.

He'll not be on the bench on Saturday unless Sordell, C.Davies or Chris Eaves pick up an injury before then.

DF will pick the squad he thinks gives us best chance of winning game.

No room for sentiment. If he ain't in the team let him do half time draw.

And even if they all get injured, surely Tom Eaves will replace his twin brother in the squad?

Zach Clough will appear before SKD.

In fact, Emma Davies, Dickie Davies and Freddie 'parrot face' Davies will appear before SKD.

She referred to Bolton as a city as well.

Women and football!

Easily done though. When chungy first signed my brother had south Korean clients who wanted him to book them flights to Bolton international airport.

There was once a reference in some paper to Horwich International Airport that got me quite excited. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a typo for Norwich

If he hasn't figured thus far since the contract saga started I can't see him being used as a token sub on Saturday in a must win game

It's actually a must not lose match. But a win is highly desirable.

There may be an argument for having 2 GKs on the bench.

Why might there?

Why might there?

So that if we take the lead but are then under the cosh late on, we bring them both on and play with three 'keepers , stupid.

Play flying keepers.

Why might there?

If one gets sent off and one gets injured....

In earlier matches it would not have mattered, but this is not a game to dominate and lose 2-1.

How many times has that ever happened Malcster?

that's stretching it a bit isn't it? - by that rational, why not go for 3 keepers on the bench, in case the 2nd one injures himself whilst warming up

Having read all 41pages I think you all have missed a point ....he's a blade isn't he?

How many times has that ever happened Malcster?

Too many, but Valencia v Inter, Champions League, 2002 will suffice.

West Ham 8 Newcastle 1 in 1986.

Both Newcastle's GK and sub were carrying knocks, and both had to withdraw during the game.

Didnt Alvin Martin score a hat-trick, each goal against a different keeper in that game ? I'm sure I've heard him mention it 8 or 9 times every hour on talkshite.

Beardsley in net?

No one had sub goalkeepers back then did they? 2 outfield players and that were it

Assuming you could've named a gk if you wanted to, but no one ever did?

Megson did it v Chelsea, but sure he said it was because one of the sub goalies had been feeling under the weather or something

In any case, no harm in doing it as you can have more than 5 subs these days, just hope you've not made all your subs when the second goalie gets injured...

I saw some one tweeting yesterday about Kevin Davies masks being bought for Saturdays game.

Diddles new business?

His wife gone absent off twitter and hes nowhere to be seen round the team methinks they have gone away on holiday.
