I don't have a problem with people earing whatever they can command, however with big bucks comes big responsibilities and big expectations.

 

When these fail then its not unreasonable for folk (especially those contributing) to wonder why the fuck they are being paid it.

 

I'd like to say £300k a week for kicking a ball is obscene. However nobody ever paid £100 to watch a nurse clean shit up off the floor or £10m to wear their clothes (apart from the likes of Little Whitt of course). As long as that's the case, footballers and the like will still earn top whack.

 

What irks me more is players who are very average at their job being paid more in a week than Joe Public does in a year but thats always going to be the case.
