tarian1979 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Need Leicester to halt there slide and get at least a point on Saturday. I dont see them getting to 70 even if they beat Brighton plus we need to go to leicester and get a result anyway. Quote

A draw at the Brighton v Leicester game if we win makes it interesting every time we have the chance to crank the pressure on the teams above we seem to blow it big time and if we did put pressure on I'm not sure Brighton or Leicester could stand it. Horwich Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 If we played every game at home, we would have a chance. Three away wins are gonna fuck us up Quote
Ani Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 we were fucking rubbish, i feel sorry for the lad at right back he had his shirt tucked in and shorts pulled up too high, he looked lost, he will be one for the boo boys. spearing was the shining light, till Medo came on who again i thought looked quality. Ngog delivers nothing. We are a million miles off good enough to compete in premier league. Quote
Sweep Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 If we played every game at home, we would have a chance. Three away wins are gonna fuck us up I can't help but agree with Horwich here, our away form is the sticking point and I'm not sure we're going to manage to get at least 6 points from Bristol, Leicester and Cardiff which is what we realistically need...as well as getting 9 points from our remaing home fixtures. Our goal difference is really shit in comparison to Brighton and Leicesters as well Quote
Ghana White Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 We got murdered but a wins a win. we've not deserved a few of our wins lately but I can think of a few games we've played well and got nothing. Evens itself out the end of the day. We're in serious danger of making the play offs and if we do pratley will have played a major part in that, didn't think I'd say that start of the season. Quote
DaisyHWanderer Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I still think that we need another season down yet. We'll get mullered in the PL. Quote

Spearing was excellent yet again and should of been mom, we need to get him signed asap. As far as dougie goes a great but obvious choice of sub in medo. They were always going to come at us but the pressure just eased when he came on. I'm baffled by ngog he does all the hard work and always finds space but that miss... 3 points Saturday and another draw for Brighton coywm Quote
tomski Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I still think that we need another season down yet. We'll get mullered in the PL. I think we will fair better in the prem. This team is too soft for this league bar perhaps spearing and Medo. Add a couple of newbs I think we could hold our own in the prem. This league I'm not so sure. Quote
tarian1979 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 If we played every game at home, we would have a chance. Three away wins are gonna fuck us up Thats my view, and has been for months. I said mid 60s a while back with away form letting us down.Still we're still live with 6 games to go so all not lost. Tough one Saturday though i think. Quote
tarian1979 Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 I still think that we need another season down yet. We'll get mullered in the PL. Yep but id rather be up for the money. We could sign a few players and even if we come down be one of the favourites if go back up the following year.Pointless saying rather go up a year later, we may not do it then epecially if say QPR (if they dont have financial meltdown) and Sund or Villa come down. Quote
EyesRight Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 We win and Leicester win on Saturday and it's back in our own hands isn't it? Surely the best outcome. Quote

That's where I'm at. I don't get all this "We're not ready yet". Let's get up there asap and get the money in. If we're not good enough to stay up then we're not good enough. We just need to ensure things are done correctly off the pitch in terms of building the right kind of squad and ensuring we don't panic, sack the manager and bring in the wrong man as a short-term fix. If this means going up, coming back down and then going back up again then so be it. Edited April 3, 2013 by DazBob Quote

Carlos Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Swansea clearly weren't ready, they seem to be doing ok. Quote
Sweep Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 We win and Leicester win on Saturday and it's back in our own hands isn't it? No, because if we win and Leicester win, then that puts us on 60pts, Leicester on 62pts and Brighton on 61pts leaving all of us with 5 to play - now we could catch Leicester by beating them, but we couldn't catch Brighton if they won all their remaining games Quote
Rembrandt Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 If this means going up, coming back down and then going back up again then so be it. I think that's the only way we can get financial stability over the next few years - be a yo-yo club, and don't throw the money around. Quote

Eggsackerley ... especially not spunking away big transfer fees on players who will then walk away on a Bosman three years later. Quote

I still think a Leicester win is best for us though as we have them to play. Quote
Matt Lofthouse Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 Just done the predictor on bbc with us losing at Cardiff and drawing at Leicester and have us stumbling into 6th on the last day. Quote
Mounts Kipper Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 you said we had no chance, yesterday I still feel thats the case, there are too many ifs buts and maybes and we are relying on everything to drop into place and even then just in case we have double agent ZK who will guarantee it will not happen. Carlos Posted April 3, 2013 Posted April 3, 2013 They are going to email Tony Kelly to sort it out. Fucking hilarious. "Utterly pathetic club organisation, although the police were at least a friendly bunch - how the chuff can a football club run out of change." Well, quite simple really, they've been doing it for fucking years. Quote
