April 30, 201313 yr we probably would have come down, as no doubt Coyle would have been given the whole season again.
April 30, 201313 yr No evidence, just my opinion. I presume you're disagreeing, or are you asking for the sake of asking? My point is that there is no way of knowing either way So, disagreeing that you can say with certainty
April 30, 201313 yr we probably would have come down, as no doubt Coyle would have been given the whole season again. Precisely, or if not the whole season then certainly still far too long. Anyway, hopefully we'll go straight back up this season having had an enjoyable season. We're all winners
April 30, 201313 yr I just hope Whelen can take Martinez's cock out of his mouth long enough to cry on national TV when they do go down. I have never seen a chairman love a manager as much as Whelen does Martinez, its sad.
April 30, 201313 yr My point is that there is no way of knowing either way So, disagreeing that you can say with certainty Hmmm. Okay, maybe I shouildn't have used the word 'certain'. I'll be sure to stick with 'fact', 'itk' and 'mmw' to remove any doubt in future.

We're all winners I agree that we would have, most likely come down. In which case we are ahead of plan as we are going up a year earlier than we would have!!

May 6, 201313 yr Keep the faith they are going down. They may well do. I can see the, beating Swansea tomorrow night, but I don't reckon they'll get anything from Arsenal so it could come down to their final game with Villa. It going right to the last weekend this one Edited May 6, 201313 yr by CWP
May 6, 201313 yr If Wigan win tomorrow night the odds obviously swing heavily in favour of them staying up. Assuming they lose their following league match at Arsenal, the one thing that could upset them now is that Villa at home on the final day suddenly looks far more difficult than it did a month or so ago. Villa have Chelsea next, which means they're unlikely to have more than their current 40 pts going in to that final match and will need something from the Wigan game to be sure.
May 6, 201313 yr I can see them staying up again. I want them to come down for the away day. Sunderland and Villa are terrible away trips.

May 6, 201313 yr Tighter than a gnats chuff at the bottom They're showing remaining fixtures and nearly every team has a winnable game next and a v tough one on the last day
May 6, 201313 yr Wigan v asyon villa last day has the potential to be one of the best games ever Wiggin will be to good against a young Villa side, I can see a goal fest.
