tshape Posted April 26, 2025 Posted April 26, 2025 Last few rounds were proper exhilarating. Couldn't believe the unanimous decision though Quote
kent_white Posted April 26, 2025 Posted April 26, 2025 (edited) By four rounds? No idea how they scored it that wide? Chris Eubank Sr's aura though! I want his jacket! Edited April 26, 2025 by kent_white Quote
Underpants Posted April 26, 2025 Posted April 26, 2025 Good fight that. Toe-to-toe with neither fighter wanting to look weak. Plenty of swinging and missing. But some solid hits. For me it was closer than the cards said. Better than any of the recent dosser fights. Quote
gonzo Posted April 27, 2025 Author Posted April 27, 2025 What a scrap. Felt knackered just watching it. Benn will dominate 147 if he stays off the eggs. Couldn't be happier for Eubank, to do what he did to make weight then dig in for 12 rounds against a fucking fire cracker like Benn is just unbelievable and a fitness like no other. Absolute warrior. I thought they'd go draw when it went to points just for Benns tenacity but it's all down to point scoring. While Benn was wafting shots and missing all over the show but looking dominant it was actually Eubank picking up the points with the clean uppercuts and jabs. Those rabbit punches on the ropes won it him. Getting his points in right at the end of each round. The boxer won. Tremendous. Quote
Cheese Posted April 27, 2025 Posted April 27, 2025 Fell asleep and missed it. Woke up at 2AM and managed to find the full fight on youtube without knowing the result. 🥳 Good scrap. Was expecting a draw until the last couple of rounds. Quote
gonzo Posted April 28, 2025 Author Posted April 28, 2025 Always tear ups at these events 🤦♂️ Wonder if their doors will go in? 🤔 Quote

deeane Koontz Posted June 20, 2025 Posted June 20, 2025 Usyk beating Dubois again? I think so. Hopefully Parker gets his shot next he deserves it more than most Quote

Lt. Aldo Raine Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 Usyk splits with his long-time promotor I get the he's probably retiring after the Dubios fight but it seems a bit od Quote
gonzo Posted June 29, 2025 Author Posted June 29, 2025 Big win for Topuria last night. Paddy up next.. Quote
Lt. Aldo Raine Posted June 29, 2025 Posted June 29, 2025 I can't help thinking Benn would be better off trying to make a name for himself at welterweight But the first fight was one of the best fights in ages so I won't complain if we get a repeat Quote

It's a shame, but I can see more and more of these "prize fights" happening as we move forward Quote
gonzo Posted July 1, 2025 Author Posted July 1, 2025 Suppose it's good news and we are all closer to him fighting someone proper and him leaving the stadium in a private ambulance. Quote
Cheese Posted July 1, 2025 Posted July 1, 2025 Either that or he'll become World Champion. Wouldn't be surprised... Quote
